YA Fantasy. Hero club where killing monsters earns points/ status, detailed illustrations of hero's ID cards. Two guys + female member with snow leopard pet, her father/ parents? was turned into bird/ canary by evil witches. Read around 2010.

YA fantasy book read in ~2010 in middle school (USA, English). It took place in a fantasy realm with magic and monsters. It was about 2 male characters (one strong one weak) who are part of a hero club. This club is based on how many monsters you kill for points/stats. The characters had ID cards with their points and names and these were in the books as illustrations. There was a female heroine who was also a hero club member, she had a snow leopard for a pet and was attempting to stop evil witches who turned her father (parents?) into birds or canaries. The first chapter had them kill a giant or cyclops that when killed turned into smoke and gave them points. The 2 boys and girl meet and try to stop the witches, there were portals in one scene where they fight the witches. Thanks for your help guys!
