When the giants stole Thor's hammer, he and Loki got it back while also destroying every giant and ogre involved. Later, when Thor and Loki traveled to the land of the giants, one of their leaders, Utgard Loki, tricked Thor and Loki since he knew the nature of them both, which only left Thor what could be seen as a desire for revenge.
