I'd love for you to review my new novel, THE CURE OF THE SPIDER-RIDERS, which is a 43,000 word MG fantasy novel (in the process of being approved by KDP for amazon as I type).
In a hive nestled amongst the treetops of a wooded mountain, a colony of faeries lead a life of peace. Unbeknown to them, an army of bloodthirsty monsters gather in the tunnels below. Monsters molded by darkness and forged into savage warriors. Consumed by hatred, they prepare to launch an attack on the hive. Battle-hardened creatures all, they have little fear for their future…
But they should. For in the gloom, Jakoby, an eleven-year-old boy, stumbles across their plan. He will do anything to stop the slaughter, even if it means laying down his own life.
But the burrows whisper truths long since buried. Truths which expose a different side to the faeries.
A darker side.

I have a Sci-Fi YA with young love book that didn't get much attention and is not clear for me why. Maybe I didn't promoted it enough or maybe it's the writing.
For sure I would like to know.
Title: A Galaxy In My Mind
Here's the BLURB:
The Arcons enslaved the human race decades ago, and young Ava has grown up in the same atmosphere of subjugation and despair that covers every conquered planet in the Arcon Empire. Her life has always been plain and unremarkable -- until the day she discovers herself to be a clone...one created specifically to fight back!
Ava is about to find herself a pawn in a much larger game involving Klarion, privileged son of General Tal - the commander of the alien invading forces. He plans to use Ava to track down the Human Resistance but fate works both ways, and while Ava falls prey to Klarion’s schemes, Klarion finds himself questioning everything he and his people hold dear.
For these #stayathome times I left it at 99 cents, but if you are interested I can send you a copy.

Set after the death of the chosen one, it tells the story of his little sister as she steps into his shoes. Featuring a lgbtq+ and disabled protagonist, Where Shadows Lie is a fast-paced epic fantasy full or adventure, intrigue, and romance. Also adorable baby dragons.
If you are interested in it, I would be delighted to send you a review copy!

Blurb:
Two strangers on the same path.
Survivors. Companions.
They will be each other’s salvation.
On a rainy, winter night, a mysterious woman in a red dress seeking shelter comes inside the restaurant Kabir was busy working in —primarily the bar— and night after night, drink after drink, she comes back to the same spot. That is where he sees her for the first time.
Hundreds of patrons around her try to speak with her daily, but she dismisses them. It appears she wants to remain in a blissful peace alone with her booze and books. After seeing the mysterious woman reading a book, and because of his shy nature, Kabir gains entrance into her life by anonymously leaving books with notes for her.
The Name of Red is the story of two strangers, two different personalities who meet on a winter, rainy night who challenge each other. They have a connection which blossoms into a friendship due to their fondness of books. But they both have secrets that can bind them together or threaten their newfound relationship forever.

Thank you for your interest in reviewing books! I am about to release the second book in a series and am looking for reviews for the first book, and of course, if the readers like it, the second book as well!
The first book is a paranormal romance, taking place in steampunk Victorian London. The second book takes place in the present.
(Should you also be interested in adult contemporary and YA paranormal, I have published books in those genres as well.)
The Abiding
Opening the door to her farmhouse after hunting for dinner, Emeline Huntley finds the one thing she never expected in their quiet countryside- her entire family murdered.
In Victorian London, plans have been put into motion to create the ultimate weapons. William Rathbone and his group of scientists have managed to isolate the strengths of three creatures that have lived under society’s nose for centuries. Armed with his new tonic, Rathbone heeds to a prophesy that a certain group of children born, will be able to transform into this new breed of humans.
Controlled by clockwork collars with hidden blades sharp enough to cut through bone, The Abiding must follow their new master and his vindictive desires, or pay with their own lives.
While one other prisoner seeks to only protect her, another will stop at nothing to prove to Emeline that she must join him, if they are ever to leave the grasp of their creator. Now Emeline must decide whether she can see through her master's plan of revenge, in the hopes he will someday free her, Nathaniel and the others or join Alexander and rid herself of the very man who killed her family and turned her into a monster.

Synopsis:
Dr. Sophie Grimaldi, successful and happy in her career, if not in love, is contentedly single and plans to remain that way. Books have always been her escape and the only place she still allows herself to believe men are decent and true love exists.
Author Jax Rowland is writing the first book of his next spy thriller series, struggling to forge a deeper connection between his protagonist and not-another-Bond-girl to appease the disenchanted female portion of his audience.
When Sophie finds a sheet of Jax’s notes in a library book, she’s appalled by his attempt at writing a love scene and critiques it, never imagining the author will read her review. Ashamed to view his work through a mystery critic’s eyes, he recognizes her talent and hires her to edit the love scenes of his next novel. As they get to know each other through the work, discovering all they share in common, a desire for more than a working relationship, more than friendship grows. But, after a series of missed connections, it seems fate has other plans.
Will they continue to play it safe and single or will they risk another heartbreak for a chance at love?
Note: Book Review is a full-length standalone romance with some adult language. The end of this book is not a cliffhanger but, if you prefer a tidy conclusion, this may not be the book for you. Reader discretion is advised.

Please review my as-yet unpublished first novel, On the Steps of St. Dymphna. You'll find an advance review copy at this link: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1J...
Here is all the pertinent info:
Author: Tony G. Rocco
Genre: Urban Fantasy/Magic Realism
Length: 60,000+ words
Publication Date: September 14, 2020 on Amazon
Synopsis:
On the Steps of St. Dymphna tells a story of transformation. John, a normal cubicle slave with a bland and ordinary life, is transformed by an enlightenment experience. Or, did he just go crazy? He’s not really sure, but either way, he becomes a dramatically different person.
From bored support representative at GMC Megatronics, he transforms himself into Pastor John, a flamboyant free spirit spouting spiritual nostrums and intent on not only radically transforming his own life, but bringing joy and purpose to the lives of others.
To this end, he joins forces with a rag-tag group of homeless and starts The New Life Church of the Godhead of the Bed, so named for the locus of his awakening — an ordinary bed.
John and his following set their sights on St. Dymphna’s House of Hope, a local sanitarium run by the authoritarian Big Mama, where they attempt to help the needy and comfort the afflicted. They face numerous obstacles that threaten to derail their mission, but with the help of a local religious radio station and a large group of feisty supporters, they persevere and ultimately triumph. For a while.
Steps explores the emptiness of modern life and the desperate lengths necessary to live a life of purpose. It deals with themes of spirituality, alienation, faith and compassion. It is truly a tale for modern times.

Are you still looking for books to review? I have a historical southern, civil war era romance. "Weeper"
"They that sow in tears shall reap in joy." The small smile rose again, brightening her face. "I remember well the day of your birth, Augustus."
"You do?" Augustus asked. It was then that his brother, Jefferson, pulled him away from her, and her veil again fell like a curtain. Although Augustus didn't know it yet, these were the first words he had ever spoken to his birth mother, and he would not uncover this secret for another eighteen years.
In mid-nineteenth century Southern Pennsylvania, generations of the True family have made their living by providing funeral services for the deceased as “warners”. When Archer True meets Charlotte Fenn, a paid mourner or “weeper”, he finds himself entranced by her. But their adulterous affair results in pregnancy and the scandal of their unborn child threatens to wreak devastation on the Fenn’s livelihoods.
To avoid ruin, Charlotte agrees to give her baby up to the Trues, and when she gives birth to her son Augustus, he is taken to the True residence to be raised as their own. Charlotte vows never to let Augustus find out the truth, but when Augustus runs away to a military academy as a teenager, Charlotte pursues him, unable to bear being too far from her secret son.
But life in the mid-nineteenth century is hard: the only thing certain is death. As the Civil War rages around them, the secrets of Augustus’s birth are about to unravel in the most devastating way possible…

In an America controlled by wizards and 100 years behind on women’s rights, Beatrix Harper counts herself among the resistance—the Women’s League for the Prohibition of Magic. Then Peter Blackwell, the only wizard her town has ever produced, unexpectedly returns home and presses her into service as his assistant.
Beatrix fears he wants to undermine the League. His real purpose is far more dangerous for them both.
Subversive will be released Sept. 27. The entire trilogy is rolling out this fall. The first two chapters are here: https://colleencowley.com/subversive/...

I have a psychological thriller for you to review if you are interested.
A self-obsessed Japanese icon appears to have a perfect life. Fame, fortune, and a celebrity marriage… but all is not as it seems.
For fans of slow building, character driven, intense and compelling psychological thrillers. The reader is purposefully placed in the head of a heroine with strong personality flaws that do have severe outcomes for those who allow her into their lives. This is an important aspect of the story.

• SUMMARY
A suicidal former platoon sergeant, sole survivor of a Vietnam War jungle ambush, is haunted by what he perceives as his cowardly past. Debilitated by guilt and mourning the death of his wife, small town newspaper publisher Stan Przewalski lives in a PTSD-fueled world where it is impossible to distinguish reality from fantasy.
Returning from a Vietnam sightseeing tour, his suppressed memories resurface with a vengeance as he deals with a murder and a raging wildfire that threatens to destroy his hometown of Bull River Falls, Colorado. The overly medicated vet meets a magical creature who wears paratrooper boots and rock band tee shirts and commands a subterranean army that believes Stan is the answer to their fight against unscrupulous real estate developers.
While they sabotage cell phone towers and government buildings, these supernatural friends provide an unlikely path to Stan’s redemption.

Here's the jacket copy for my latest novel:
Even in a revolution, can the ends ever truly justify the means?
In 1978, the Somoza family held the people of Nicaragua in a stranglehold, stripping the country of everything of value and making beggars out of honest citizens. The only thing that kept the Somoza’s in power were the draconian actions of the feared Guardia Nacional.
In order to survive, Paco eked out a living as a street musician, busking and playing university parties. His life couldn’t have been farther from that of Ramón, a young man who squandered his privileged upbringing and was expelled from medical school.
Despite their differences, the two became fast friends, before being swept up into the revolution. What begins as a struggle for survival becomes a search for meaning. When the human cost of their ideals is laid bare, they soon discover that the true battle is to maintain their humanity.
Every Arm Outstretched explores how we determine right and wrong in a corrupt society, the meaning of love, loyalty and friendship, and whether the ends can ever truly justify the means.
While the facts of the Nicaraguan revolution are well known, recorded history often hides more than it reveals. Every Arm Outstretched marries the truth of human nature to the events of history.
If that sounds interesting to you, I'd love for you to review it.

Looking forward to hearing back from you,
Best regards,
-Bill See

When the book opens, we meet this guy called Benjamin Bradford, who’s a single father of 9 year old daughter Sophia – we don’t yet know the circumstances of how this came to be, but we know he’s been going to a therapist for pretty much that whole time because something big happened. Benjamin has convinced himself all the mental illness in his family is going to get passed through him to Sophia -- so he’s completely tunnel visioned about just trying to hold it together long enough to get Sophia off to college. He’s also just found out the only girl he ever loved, Anna, is getting married to his ex-best friend who he lost her to a decade earlier. So, that’s a parallel storyline about not just what they once had, but the life changing moment when he lost her. Benjamin can’t let go of this idea he’s meant to be with Anna – which poses the central question from right out of the gate: is it love or fatherhood that will save him.
If that sounds interesting, i'm happy to send you whatever format you like reading. And thank you for the kind offer.
With kind regards,
-Bill

Fantastic Journey - The Soul of Speculative Fiction and Fantasy Adventure is about:
If we do not dream, if we do not imagine, we begin to die.
A smart, concise, thoughtful look at how imaginative fiction and the vast sea of fantasy impacts us as readers on three levels:
•The spiritual arena
•The wide world of ideas
•And the sphere we breathe in
But the secret lies further within. Meaning is the soul of every adventure, its central reality. The reality of every book impacts us on every level.
If a book’s dark soul is a false gem brought up from the sea of fantasy we see shades of human evil and shudder, tossing that book back into the waves it came from. If our jewel of fiction glitters unrealistically bright – without a care – we shrug and say, “meh,” and the fate of that soul, pages fluttering in the wind, is to lie forgotten.
But if that soul draws light to battle darkness, if its story mirrors our lives and calls us to the adventure of truth, the joys of mystery, and the beauties of brave action - then we have won a precious jewel drawn from the sea.
But the ocean of fantasy is not without its dangers.
Wherever there is wealth, there is risk.
Here is what one reader says:
Reader, are you a fantasy fan? Perhaps if you say no, you haven't sampled the uplifting fantasy that author Azalea Dabill describes, analyzes, and lists in this book. After all, there is plenty of fantasy writing out there that leaves a bad feeling in the pit of the stomach.
Learning to tell the difference between fantasy that uplifts and fantasy that does the opposite is the purpose of this book, which it executes in lyrical fashion--with excerpts from 70, count them 70 authors, including specific recommendations for even more than that. This book is clearly a labor of love. -- Phyllis Wheeler, author of The Long Shadow, to be published in 2021
I have only a couple of reviews, and 10 is the magic number. Please share your honest thoughts about this free book and the riches of fantasy fiction!
Find that which is the wealth of souls.
(Has a Christian thread throughout)
Thank you!

Through Hell & Highwater is my first finished book. It is fantasy story. A story of how saving the Earth brings together a Shifter, two Vampires, Werewolves, an Elf, Half-Fae, a Wizard and an Orc. When the world is slowly turning into chaos the students are trying to find a way back. Back to what is safe and secure. But in order to do that, the students have to go through hell first.
“Did I say something wrong?” she whispered to Dylan, falling back to be able to walk next to the wolf instead.
“You are doing great, darling,” he replied with a grin. “Beautifully, if embarrassment is what you are aiming towards, I mean. It would be quite amusing, if I wasn’t afraid for our lives.”

But before long, Molly suspects she’s being manipulated and finds herself trapped in a tangled web, unable to tell friends from enemies who blackmail, kidnap, and murder with ease.
Soon, Molly must choose between her life and the lives of those she loves—or use her wits and growing psychic powers to change the rules of a game she barely understands.

Count the Ways and Other Poems is a series of unsent letters from a forgotten lover to the one who broke their heart. While trying to navigate the aftermath of a failed relationship, the speaker reveals the power and pain of that tumultuous feeling: love. The most reasonable choice would be to forget and move on, but their heart, haunted by the memories that are no more, refuses to do so. The agonized writer's letters reveal moments of pure bliss captured in their mind, transferred onto paper as they ask again and again: why did this have to end?
Throughout their journey, the speaker revisits memories from childhood all the way to the present, recounting the times when they met people with broken souls and wondered how they had gotten there. Too late, they realize that, by letting the brokenness take over, they have grown up and forgotten how to hope, and search desperately for the attachment that they yearn for. Challenging time, belief, and love itself, Count the Ways and Other Poems is as much about the hurting as it is about the healing.
Through beautifully wrought verse, Rachel Sheng writes of a mind whose memories clash with reality, who cannot come to terms with what has happened. Within these pages, the pain takes form and grows, revealing a beauty that cannot be found with happiness alone.

The Lady Detective by Ava January
London's lawbreakers and loathsome lords... beware!
How does a wealthy widow avoid the marriage market in 1890s London?
If you're Lady Theodosia Fortescue-Brown, you hide behind outrageously bad clothing and glasses you don't need.
After the disappearance of her husband, Theodosia can't imagine giving up her freedom to marry again and relishes her role as detective to the ladies of the upper echelons of society.
When a priceless necklace on loan from the Royal family is stolen, Theodosia must work with the scandalous Lord Montague to recover it before the theft is discovered.
But somewhere between setting a brothel on fire, being knocked out in a cemetery in the middle of the night, and narrowly avoiding death via Scotch egg, Theodosia and William fall in love...

I'm looking for a bookstagrammer...
My book is a fantasy/lit fiction combo set in Australia in contemporary times with flashbacks to ancient times, (origins of magic). Darker theme but lighthearted and contains humour. It is a multicultural epic. The book link contains the blurb.
Let me know if this interests you and I'd be happy to send you a free copy.
