So true!! I would catch up, but I keep adding to the list! It starts with a favorite author writing a new series. It's added. Then, while browsing postings you see something intriguing. It gets added---even if that means adding it and the rest of the series it belongs to! Then a friend passes a book to you and you find it's a series. That gets added. Or, you watch a new TV movie based on M.C. Beaton's The Quiche of Death and think that series might be interesting... And so on and so on and so on!! I will be updating my TBR list this month and just perusing Stop You're Killing Me and FictFact, I can see that I'm already behind in more than several of my favorite series. Priorities will have to be set!!
However, I'm glad of the position I'm in. I'd rather have too much to choose from than be struggling to find something. Good luck to you!!

In the meantime here is what I have read so far this year. A mix of new series as well as some old favorites.

My TBR list has grown exponentially since joining a couple of cozy groups here...and I'm loving it! So many choices depending on what moves me at any given moment...

Hi Britney! That is a VERY difficult question that I have been pondering for a while. I read so many good books this year. I'm really glad I finally got around to starting two series that have been on my tbr shelf for several years, Ellery Adam's Books By the Bay and Melissa Bourbon's A Magical Dressmaking Mystery. Both series are awesome and quite addictive. I love Ellery's protagonist, Olivia. She's in her 40's and established which gives her a unique edge and a refreshing maturity a lot of cozies are lacking. The Magical Dressmaking series is a fun one. I enjoy the old west history and the genealogy tie ins. Harlow, like all of the Cassidy women, inherit their "gifts " from a wish their ancestor Butch Cassidy made.
My favorite new series would be Susannah Hardy's Greek to Me series. She released two books this year and the story line and character development quickly drew me into the series. Look forward to seeing where this one goes. My biggest shocker read was A Fatal Chapter from Lorna Barrett. This is the 9th book in the Booktown series and it left me speechless. Totally worth the read! Guess that about sums it up, I am totally addicted to cozies and look forward to another great year of both old & new series!
