OH, where Cassie said that? And i feel like in the book let us seeing that Zara was jealous of Emma and everyone that have what she want. I mean, she grew up only with her dad and we know now that him actually had no the best idealities so i kinda feel bad for her for never had the right person to correct her. But i don´t feel like that was an excuse for her actitutes and her way of being. She was mean until the point to stab no only one but twice to Emma and to cause pain to her own people. She let the hate and the jealous consume her and totally forgot about the redemption and mercy. For example, Emma could´ve killed her and let the revenge consume her, but she did not. She choice the right way and choose to give her a chance. Something that I actually loved it, cause if she´d stabbed Zara i honestly would´ve being so dissapointed with Emma. Cause after all I felt like Zara diserve a second oportunity and maybe in TWP we´ll able to see her change. But in this point i don´t happy with her. It´s like, you can´t behave towards people horrible just because others treat you liked that.
Yeah I agree. I definitely think her mom was killed by a Downworlder and that’s why Horace started the whole thing. And Zara obviously, like you h said, only had him to look up to as a parental figure so she followed in his footsteps. I really hope she gets a redemption arc. I would feel her death would be such a forced narrative of Cassie making is hate her and not giving her any depth. Like seriously Zara isn’t that well developed of a character if I’m being honest in my opinion. She does all these bad th bags and we get no explanation for why her opinions are like that
I think that too! Since the first time that give us a close up of the hate that Horace have to the downworlders.
I hope Cassie gives us some backstory bc it will add so much depth to Zara

And can we talk about the fact that she´s uploading a lot of photos of the hell princes? I honestly thinking right now that all of them it´s gonna play a major rol in TWP. I can't get the idea out of my mind that Tessa's father it's gonna appear.btw, can you guys tell me if you understand my english well? It´s not my mother language, but I'm learning xd

ok so, i wanna have some backstory for zara in twp, but i would understand if we do not. for me it's enough what we are told with zara losing her mother and being influenced by her father.. (at least now, but maybe in the next 2/3 years my opinion will change)
@El in lord of Shadows what she did didn't seem evil. I understood that and I felt the same as you. but whatever she did later, idk. I just didn't like her anymore.Also, I think Jace will see Lucie too coz he's a Herondale.
I am not judging Zara, I just do NOT like her. I hate her. mostly because being young as a Shadowhunter isn't really young. their lives are different from a younger age but yes, I think it's her father who polluted her mindset.
yes, stabbing Emma!! also she took Cortana, if only she knew that it wasn't 'only' the blade but also the parabatai bond that was making it strong.
and if that downworlder did kill Zara's mother, I think it's the same Valentine's story. the reason that drives one mad in rage.

And that specific part scare me, cause, who know what Janus is able to do? I mean, he can twist the mind of Livvy and put her on his side...
and i don´t remember well the part that you say about Valentine
valentine's mother or father were killed by a downworlder and so valentine's mission was to get rid of them .. but that's only part of it. part of it was that he was also jealous of the powers downworlders had.and just like the cohort, he wanted no corruption in the Clave but while valentine wanted to kill all the downworlders, cohort wanted to keep check on them and show who is superior

guys!! I have this question.Sebastian and the Seelie Queen ally with one another around 2007-2008 and in that time, what happened them gave us Ash.
and in TDA we meet Ash, how old is he? don't faeries age slow? and if he aged soon because of Sebastian's Shadowhunter world, still he can't be a teenage so soon.
am I missing something?

In TDA, he was said to be around Dru's age and then when he and Annabel travelled to Thule, apparently, 5 years had passed when Emma and Julian arrived in Thule, so I'm guessing that now Ash would be 18 years old because of all that?
since faerie time pases differently in tda ash is 13 years old and in qoaad he spent like 4 year in thule. so technically he is 17 years old. tho in human years he would be around 9-ish

In TWP he will be 17 years old, cause he stayed in Feera. I think the Seelie Queen didn't let him go out to the outside world 'cause she was scared. When he appear for the first time in TDA he was the same age of Dru (13 years old) then, as you said, in Thule he was 16 years, i think... and then he came back to Feera and stayed there. It's so confused, but i keep with that theorie following what Cassie wrote in QOAD and the last book of HOSM. That's what make sense to me, but i'm not 100% sure, but now thinking about this... I think that Cassie said something about that in her tumblr. I have to search
Guys, I was thinking about this. Last night I finished TID (i have never readed before the books, yes, i did myself a lot of spoilers in TMI and TDA xd) and i cried so bad all the night until four in the morning (I'm sorry, i never expected that epilogue. My heart breaked in thousand pieces for Will) and I know that Jem and Tessa finaly kept together and I just can't stop thinking that in TWP Tessa is gonna play part of something big and in this moment I remember about Asmodeus. What happen if in TWP Tessa will need to give their inmortalitie to him. I mean, i don't think that she will be save all the Shadowhunters and be the hero cause the books're about Kit and Ty..., but maybe she will do that as part of some sacrifice. We remember what was about to happened with Magnus in the last book of TMI and I know that if he had gave their inmortalitie to Asmodeus he have died. But maybe Tessa will not cause she's "special"?. Also, that would be kinda great cause that mean that she will not be inmortal anymore and she will get older with Jem... I don't know, it's a theorie. You guys tell me what you think. Also i thinked that cause please, Tessa and Jem went through a lot, I hope that Cassie write a happy ending for real for both of them. One of the reasons I think that TID characters (Jem, Tessa...) will be in TWP it's cause in Clockword Prince mention a lot of times the bronce. Even in a part said something like "The sky was of the color of bronce" like in the finale of the last book of History of Shadowhunters Market (i can't remember the name) and I paid a lot attention in that cause Cassie always write like hints while she's narrating. And maybe that have not be a casuality. I'm sorry for this long post guys. One last petition, can you tell me how did you recover from Clockwork Princess epilogue? :( cause I'm still in shock and I think I never would be able to recover from that, I mean, I know that Will had to died and I understand that, he lived a long beautiful life. But still hurts :(

i did not get over the epilogue for clockwork princess. i spend days without being able to read something because of the hangover that i got. this book actually made me cry, and i rarely cry in books. but now every time i reread clockwork princess i just cannot read the epilogue. it brings me way to much pain.
oh :(I just reread the epilogue in the morning haha. It's my way to can get over that. I keep reminding me that a story always can still happen in your mind the longest you can still imagine it. So I like to prefer that Tessa and Will are together, but for this time that it's not working. It's like you say, it just to much pain. And now, i just want to Will reappear in TWP more than before. Maybe to fight with Jem a very last time, like a ghost or something, like Livvy. Maybe have an Avengers Assemble time hahaha
Also, i remember there was someone here that ask about if Emma's mom was related to Cordelia Carstairs. I didn't know the answer for that time, but I found a picture of like a genealogical tree with all the families since 1837 to 2007 and they are not related. I don't know if i can post photos here
Well Emma is a Carstairs through her dad so her mom is some other line
YesAlso, I forgot to ask you guys if you know something about the origin of Ragnor. Cause when i was reading TDA it was very normal for me the fact that him pass as a warlock called Shade. But now that i readed TID and know about the story of Mortmain parents, i realized that his dad called Shade and he was a green skin warlock. I don't know if maybe that it's explain in Chain of Gold, cause i haven't readed it yet. But I have that question in my mind.
yeah, i am curious to learn more about ragnor too. we know that he is older than magnus, but that's kinda it. i don't think he is in any way related with mortmain's father, yeah, ragnor and him has green skin, but i do not think they had the same shade. and plus ragnor had horns.
If you read The Lost Book of the White, you learn A LOT more about Ragnor. Right now my brain isn't remembering what was said, but it's in there about him.
i read tlbotw byt the only thing that i remember about ragnor is that he is older than magnus

Idk Jesse definitely will be brought back to life. What’ll happen and the price Lucie will have to pay is really the bigger question.
I agree livvy can’t come back for so many reasons. It just makes several plot points in TDA very useless if she comes back. Though Cassie hinted before TWP some more ppl will learn about her, so idk🤔
Also I feel so weird bc I don’t hate Zara?? I mean sure she has such bad views and needs to smarten up, but like.... she’s so young. Idk I just really strongly believe we can’t judge until we have both sides of a story and we don’t have hers as to why she has those views.
