The funny thing is that there's literally nothing that only Amazon stocks as far as I know. What can a definitive guide possibly add to "buy from any of the other sellers elsewhere online"?

Yeah, it's pretty simple really.

However, I disagree in that there are quite a lot of times I have searched for an item and only Amazon carries it. (Not really a problem with books, I'm talking about other items)

It's usually things that are more specific, like a specific brand of something. It's pretty frustrating, but I usually just learn to live without or with something similar but not exactly that item.
