Lisa Kay wrote: "“Hannah, sweetheart, I would ask you out but you scare me.” - LOL! I like Mitch."Me too. The next book is his.
They have the Kindle/audio combo for real cheap, too. That's what I got. I think it was $3.99 + $1.99 for the two.
Lisa Kay wrote: "Goodness... this is going to be a race to see [spoilers removed]"I loved how and who found out.
What I'm wondering is how Jake inserted her into his life. Did she have an ID card when she woke up? I want details
ShoSho wrote: "How far are you?"Sorry, I fell asleep at 40%, before I could check-in. It was very late here.
I'll go ahead and do an update now, before I go on. Then do another at 50%.
BOOK QUOTE: “He’s over you, you know,” Julia went on. “He date lots of women, has since just after you left. I think he stay with them when he goes on trips. One time, I call his hotel, and a girl answered.”
Ouch! Man-on-man! That one hurt, as it was meant to. Pre-pubescent kids really know how to zing one in there.
(view spoiler)
More 40% Update: Also, I really see Mitch as the glue that is holding them all together. (view spoiler)
ShoSho wrote: "What I'm wondering is how Jake inserted her into his life. Did she have an ID card when she woke up? I want details"I know! Good think he's dead, or I'd reach in and kill him myself. I'm thinking he kidnapped her because he's was in love with her - some sort of psycho nutjob.
Re book quote: It really hurt. I both didn't like Julia and felt bad for her. She's just a child who doesn't want to be hurt anymore. Re: your spoiler #26:
He was a selfish ass, he needed it!
Lisa Kay wrote: "More 40% Update: Also, I really see Mitch as the glue that is holding them all together. [spoilers removed]"I agree. You said it very well.
ShoSho wrote: "He was a selfish ass, he needed it!"LMBO! He was/is. Hope he improves.
I haven't started yet again; I'm recharging my iPod/Touch. See what happens when I don't set the timer and I'm in bed? LOL!

I didn't think of that!
I keep thinking he knew all the while that she had a real husband and he still pretended to be her husband and had sex with her and pretended to be Reed's father . He was one sick bastard.
Yeah, I figure all that, too. What other explanation could there be? I mean, he had to know she wasn't his wife!!! And that Reed wasn't his kid! He sounds like a sick-o.
Some of the drugs they mentioned in the chart are real, but not Tabofren (cancer drug). Is that the one that Ryan mentioned way back at the beginning of the book?
BOOK QUOTE: “And no. I’m afraid of going to jail and getting a cellmate named Bubba.”LOL! Love that he had to do clean-up, too.
Lisa Kay wrote: "So... what do you think of their little field trip?"For a secret that needed to be gaurded they got the files too easily. As for (view spoiler)
I don't know how far you've read ,I don't want to spoil anything. Yes that was part of it and a few other things.

A woman without a past…
After a tragic accident left her with no memory, Kate Alexander struggled to fit in with a husband and world that didn’t feel right. She’s had no reason to question what friends and family have told her, not until her husband is suddenly killed and she finds a photo of a young girl in his office. A girl who can’t be anyone but a daughter Kate didn’t know she had.
A man desperate for a reason to live…
Ryan Harrison lost his wife in a plane crash five years ago. To cope with the pain of her loss, he dedicated himself to his job and to raising their daughter. Now a successful pharmaceutical executive, Ryan has everything a man could want—money, fame and power—but he’d give it all up in a heartbeat for just one more day with the woman he still loves.
Two lives about to converge.
As Kate begins to dig into a past she doesn’t remember, evidence leads her to San Francisco and puts her on the path toward Ryan, a man who sees in her the woman he loved and lost. Kate feels a draw to Ryan, one she can’t explain, but is that feeling enough to convince her this is where she’s supposed to be? As Ryan and Kate search for answers, they uncover lies long buried, a passion hotter than either expected and a danger that threatens…even now…when the second chance they’ve both been searching for is finally within reach.
