Amanda Artist Cat (amandawholovesbooks) Hiya, writers❤! Today I'm busy writing my story for the Anne Frank Memorial Challenge, and I am experiencing a lot of moments where I wanted to throw something across the room!!! 😠
Do you ever get the feeling that when you pre-imagine a peragraph or scene in your writing, millions beautiful sentences spring to your mind, clamouring to be written.
BUT, when you sit down and put pen to paper, all the wonderful ideas vanish - pop pop pop - like soap bubbles and you are left with a blank page and infinite frustration??
That happens to me loads of times a day!!

My inner critic always makes my intense scenes the hardest to write. Something tragic/intense is happening, and I need the dialogue and exposition to flow quickly but without the cheesiness . . . yeah not only I run out of ideas but fight scenes turn cheesy haha.

Amanda Artist Cat (amandawholovesbooks) It is a very intriguing story, Taylor!! It's okay to have loads of references to different stuff, it's all part of your inspiration 😉!
I'm impressed! Would you like to have private messaging sessions where I can give you tips and feedback? I mean, you'll have to tell me more specifics, and I'm sure you don't want your story to get out in public before you got published!!

Amanda Artist Cat (amandawholovesbooks) Hello, writers!! Just so you know, I accept messages from non-friends, so if you're interested in chatting about writing or asking for advice and feedback on your writings, you can always message me and I can give you one-to-one sessions with you 💕! I usually have time and check my inbox frequently 📬 😉!
