YA/Teens are stranded on an Island

I read this book in 2007/8. The book was about a group of teens stranded on an island probably due to a plane crash. I do remember that one of the survivors had a crush on another and the recording that she made the confession was played aloud for everyone to hear as a sort of revenge??
