On Monday afternoon, five students at Bayview High walk into detention.
Bronwyn, the brain, is Yale-bound and never breaks a rule.
Addy, the beauty, is the picture-perfect homecoming princess.
Nate, the criminal, is already on probation for dealing.
Cooper, the athlete, is the all-star baseball pitcher.
And Simon, the outcast, is the creator of Bayview High's notorious gossip app.

Only, Simon never makes it out of that classroom. Before the end of detention, Simon's dead. And according to investigators, his death wasn't an accident. On Monday, he died. But on Tuesday, he'd planned to post juicy reveals about all four of his high-profile classmates, which makes all four of them suspects in his murder. Or are they the perfect patsies for a killer who's still on the loose?
Everyone has secrets, right? What really matters is how far you would go to protect them.

A couple months back I read You Were Gone by Tim Weaver and by Caroline Kepnes and I can't wait to start this one.
It sounds great with all the mystery and secrets. I think I will finish it in no time

I have heard of this book, but I never seemed to have enough time to read it. Now that I am locked up in my house all I seem to have is time.

Krystal I agree about you on Jake. He also seems like he was a major control freak. What gets to me is how many secrets all these teenagers seem to have. I swear I never had so many when I was 17.

(view spoiler)[Everything was such a cliché, but I think it was meant to be. Sadly that had me figuring out the mystery well in advance and I was just waiting for the stupid characters to catch on. I also thought there was a lot of political correctness in this book. For instance, each of the police officers was a different race, like we can't leave anyone out. So for me this book has landed up being just average. (hide spoiler)]

Simon is my favorite character even though he was sick, I don't think that he reasons were obsevered of course, yet I feel as though he was the character with the most amount of personality and Idk I just liked him. Same here. I don't read a lot of mysteries as well, so this book was kinda refreshing. You should try reading Truly Devious by Maureen Johnson that is a GREAT mystery/teen read. (view spoiler)[ And it is truly sad that one would create this elaborate scheme to get revenge for petty stuff. And I had a feeling that Jake was apart of it and was so happy that I was right.
