Pre-Reading Questions -Anybody got any thoughts on this one before we start?
Has anyone read anything similar to this before?
Anybody read anything else by this author previously?
A couple months back I read You Were Gone by Tim Weaver and
by Caroline Kepnes and I can't wait to start this one. It sounds great with all the mystery and secrets. I think I will finish it in no time
This book is arriving tomorrow and I can't wait to start it. It is unlike what I normally read but I am trying to branch out and get back into reading!
I have heard of this book, but I never seemed to have enough time to read it. Now that I am locked up in my house all I seem to have is time. I am new in this group and I am kinda very excited to participate in this group buddy read in May.

Oh goody! I actually had this one in my list on the wanted page so I hope someone else joins me here!

Welcome to the group!
I've read the Pretty Little Liars series and quite enjoyed it. So, I'm looking forward to sinking my teeth into this book. :)

Chapter 15.Krystal I agree about you on Jake. He also seems like he was a major control freak. What gets to me is how many secrets all these teenagers seem to have. I swear I never had so many when I was 17.

Don't know why it took out what I actually wrote, lol, but you got it!
Finished. I really enjoyed this book! I was so pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it. (view spoiler)
Kathryn wrote: "Okay I'm done. [spoilers removed]"
So sorry it wasn't your cup of tea. I don't read a ton of mysteries and definitely not a lot of teen murder mysteries so maybe that's why I enjoyed it.
Kathryn wrote: "Krystal, are you going to read Breathe, one of the other books for this month?"I have it on hold! It says I have about 2 weeks until I can get it but hopefully will get it sooner. But yes, if it does come through I definitely want to read it.
Krystal wrote: "Finished. I really enjoyed this book! I was so pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it. [spoilers removed]"Same here. I don't read a lot of mysteries as well, so this book was kinda refreshing. You should try reading Truly Devious by Maureen Johnson that is a GREAT mystery/teen read. (view spoiler)

I'm really liking mysteries lately so I can't wait to start this one.
I have read nothing else by this author.
Kathryn wrote: "I've read the Pretty Little Liars series and quite enjoyed it. So, I'm looking forward to sinking my teeth into this book. :)"That is what I was thinking. She made up a lot of point in not so little time.

The Breakfast Club meets Pretty Little Liars, One of Us Is Lying is the story of what happens when five strangers walk into detention and only four walk out alive. Everyone is a suspect, and everyone has something to hide.
Pay close attention and you might solve this.
On Monday afternoon, five students at Bayview High walk into detention.
Bronwyn, the brain, is Yale-bound and never breaks a rule.
Addy, the beauty, is the picture-perfect homecoming princess.
Nate, the criminal, is already on probation for dealing.
Cooper, the athlete, is the all-star baseball pitcher.
And Simon, the outcast, is the creator of Bayview High's notorious gossip app.
Only, Simon never makes it out of that classroom. Before the end of detention, Simon's dead. And according to investigators, his death wasn't an accident. On Monday, he died. But on Tuesday, he'd planned to post juicy reveals about all four of his high-profile classmates, which makes all four of them suspects in his murder. Or are they the perfect patsies for a killer who's still on the loose?
Everyone has secrets, right? What really matters is how far you would go to protect them.
