World cat doesn't have a page count for this edition - & years ago someone changed the page count from 290 to 275. Could you tell me what is after page 275 on your edition? :)

For this ISBN 0-452-26446-4, page 276 is the last of a chapter.

Page 277 starts a new chapter with a poem - Bare feet and chamomile sap.. and ends at page 288.

Page 289 is a new chapter that starts with "There is loneliness that can be rocked" and ends at page 290 with the word "Beloved."
