Short YA book narrated by dead girl whose body has not been found (not Lovely Bones)

I read this between 2005 and 2010. It was a slim hardcover in the mixed YA section of my library. The narrator was a girl whose body had not been discovered (so tones of Lovely Bones). I don't recall much about the plot- I would assume she was murdered. The lyrics of "blackbird singing in the dead of night" may have come up. I really thought the title of this book was "Dead on County Line," but I can't find that anywhere, so I must be wrong!
