YA Fantasy book that is part of a series and it´s about a teenager girl that goes to a school with people with powers. She basically is able to find things when she touches something of that person.

I read this book in between 2013 and 2016. The girl is a teenager (i think she is 16 yo) and she goes to this magic school, but everyone has different powers. Her is being able to find things when she touches something of that person. Suddenly there is a mystery (i think someone ask her to find something or something of hers disappears) and she gets involved. There´s a boy that sort of helps her (he is really popular and the son of someone important) and she likes him. Spoiler alert at the end of it there is a battle and she finds out that she can absorb other peoples powers. The brother of one of the popular girls (who turns out to be the bad guy) dies because she absorbs his life energy to fix her wounds.

Having read this series and the other academy books by Jennifer Estep, I also think this is her book.
Recommend both series.
