How about a magic academy romance. I do give credit to the manga and book I get some of my ideas from.X- bookworm -bottom
Y- school pres -top
X is a back ground character and a failure despite that he always has his nose in the text given to him. He is a klutz most of the time and though his know's each spell by heart he can't seem to say it correctly spur of the moment or remember the right on during tests. Y is the naturally talented student body president. Y always has to repremend X on his clumsiness with potions and punishes him with things like having X live with having cat ears and tail and things of that sort. Being that X naive, he doesn't notice Y has feelings for him until the teachers room X and Y together for studying purposes. Y punishes X for each mistake and it ends up with X in something to Y's liking.
It turns into a romance full of cosplay! I wanna be X if you don't mind.

Farin walked the hall in a slight hurry to his room with his head down slightly. He didn't want to cause attention to himself, not that it was that big of a problem anyway. He just didn't want to get notice by the student body pres, it always ended up him getting in trouble and with some sort of animal ears and tail placed on him as punishment. He only closed his eyes for a moment and he ended up bumping into someone. He gasped softly as his book dropped to the floor. He looked up to say sorry and gulped. He scattered to pick up his books as he mutter his sorry quietly.
Did he see that it was me? No, no.... He thought as he walked down the hall and to the dorms before patting his head. Nope, nothing there. He let out a small sigh of relief as he leaned against the door to his room. "I don't want to get punished, the spell for the rabbit ears and tail just went away." He murmured as he walked into his room and closed the door behind him. He jumped as he saw his teachers. "Yes?" He murmured before getting lectured and told he would now be rooming with his tutor, whom he would meet while he would unpack his things. It was then he took notice that the room was empty of his belongings. He was handed a key and teleported to the hallway to find his new room.
Farin found the door after wandering aimlessly without much instruction as to where it was. He bit his lip lightly as he unlocked the door and stepped in. He found his boxes on an unused bed and started his unpacking process, without spells. It always seems that the pres knew when he failed a spell because when he did, he woke with animal ears and tail. The last one being rabbit. He shook his head and unpacked his bedding before anything else so he could make his bed.
(He is the student body pres and he does know Farin by name because of the failure habit that he loves to punish.)Farin finished making his bed and started on the rest of his things. The first of which he would start with would be his books. He needed to get them situated first or else nothing fit. He perced his lips as he neatly organized his books. Then he got out his alarm clock and set it up before he got out his cat stuffed animal to set on his bed. He smiled to himself as he took a small break to curl up on his bed with it. He ended up falling asleep with his cat stuffed animal.
(Cosplay... animal ears and tail and such.. they are in the same room now as well, he is Farin's tutor.)

(He was notified before hand that farin would be his roommate and student. The cosplay stuff is for when he fails at spells.)
Farin woke later and yawned softly as he sat up, rubbing his eyes. He paid no mind to the body in the other bed as he unpacked the rest of his clothes. He finished and curled up in his bed again before he finally noticed the other person in the room. So that is my tutor...Asleep... He thought as he snuggled with his little cat before nodding off again,
Farin woke up to a familiar voice and opened his eyes. He sat up slowly as he tried to figure out whose voice it was before looking at the guy. He froze when he did. The pres was his tutor? Why? He could figure out why the teacher set him up with this guy. He was a natural at everything and he was going to teach him? It didn't seem quite fair. The teacher's did know that he was the source to the animal parts, right?
