this is where i should have replied- sorry Jan. When tried to vote the word error was superimposed over my choice. tried a couple of times. not sure if anything went through.

Hmm -- don't know what the problem could be. I just voted, and then changed my vote, with no problem. (I usually don't vote but doesn't look like it will make any difference this time.)

Be sure you're logged into Goodreads. Hit refresh, and if you're not, you'll get the "log in" box, or just log in.

Later this afternoon I'll search in the Moderator's Group to see if I see any tips.

Meanwhile, if logging in doesn't help, go on and contact Goodreads help to see if you get anything back.

Has anybody else who sees this thread had difficulty voting?

I just spent some time looking up the issue of "member can't vote" in the moderators' support group and found very little. Something from 2014 that says you can't vote from a mobile app, so maybe no longer an issue in 2020. Also saw something from 2016 about a member who had previously participated in votes but now couldn't. She couldn't comment on group posts either, which isn't an issue with you, Shelley. They were advising her to verify the email address Goodreads has, which doesn't seem pertinent here. I get a little red "error" message if, for example, I try to finish a review from the night before without refreshing and logging back in. So don't know. Hoping the problem has gone away or that Goodreads Help helps.
