Gretchen Jeannette | 5 comments Dear Librarian,

When using Goodreads' "Search books" window to find my books, the ones that display are not the most recent editions published on Amazon. Instead, old editions display (some of them years old). The books in question are: The Devil Take Tomorrow, A Devil of a Time, and This Day is Ours. Would you please have the most recent editions display when searching Goodreads' website?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Respectfully,

Gretchen Jeannette (Author)

Gretchen Jeannette | 5 comments Thank you for your prompt response.

I'm really not sure how to "change the default". The correct editions of my books do indeed display on my author page. However, potential readers searching the Goodreads' site by book title are shown old editions of my work. Can this be corrected so that the most recent editions display when using the "Search books" field?

Oddly, for a period of time, the correct editions did display when using the "Search books" window, but that changed recently. Now the old editions display.

Any assistance you can provide to correct this will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again.

Gretchen Jeannette

Gretchen Jeannette | 5 comments Hi Andrew,

The current editions are already set as the primary editions. When I look under "edit details", this is the notation I see: "This book is manually set to be the primary edition of this work." And yet, when the book title is searched in the "Search books" window, the old editions display.

Gretchen Jeannette | 5 comments I hope so, except the primary editions have been set for months now. Do I need to manually update the cache?
