I wrap the bandage across her arm and finally finish it."Okay just don't put too much pressure on it,and in a few days it might need rebandaging,Come to me if there's any problems with it"
I nod weakly and stand up, stumbling a bit.
"It's going to be okay, really" I say
I nod again. “I should probably check on my sister,” I tell her, “She was in the infirmary last I heard.”
"Ah okay you do that"I say."Do you want me to come or will you be okay on your own?"
((Amber left. You can just send her to the infirmary.))
Clara stands just outside and changes her mind. ‘I’m going somewhere else,’ she thinks and flies to Half-blood hill.
Izzy is flying around and slashing dummies. She smiles at the rush of adrenaline.
Clara smiles when she sees Izzy. "Hey Iz, come on over here!" she calls. Izzy hears someone calling to her and she is surprised when it's Clara. She runs over to Clara and gives her a hug. "Hi!!!"
Josh's eyebrows raise at Izzy's enthusiasm. But he grins, showing his dimples
Clara laughs and hugs Izzy back, “it’s been a while. I’m glad you seem to be feeling better. Izzy, this is Josh, son of Apollo. Josh, this is Isabelle, daughter of Zeus.”Izzy pulls away. “It’s nice to meet you, my friends call me Izzy or Iz,” she says to Josh, holding out her hand.
He shakes her hand, "Nice to meet you. I haven't actually even talked to a child of Zeus before. It's quite an honor." he jokes. His hair glows bright like the sun when his hand touches hers. He brushes his hand through it to stop glowing
Izzy laughs. “The honor is all mine,” she says. A gust of wind kicks up and blows her hair around her face. She moves it away from her eyes.
Clara sighs. “I’m going to go back to the cabin. Stop by later Iz, ok?” Izzy nods. “Of course!”
Clara walks away back to the cabin.
"I'm seventeen. How old are you?" Izzy asked him.
"sixteen, turning seventeen in two weeks." he says, and puts his hands in his pockets
"Cool! I turned seventeen a couple weeks ago," she says, fiddling with a piece of her hair.
"So, we're pretty much the same age." He smirks, "That's a relief."
Izzy raises an eyebrow, smiling. "And why's that?"
Josh folds his arms, "Well, it's nice when you find out a pretty, single girl is your age. Not gonna lie." he grins
Izzy blushes. She hadn't felt this happy in a long time. "Thank you."
He sees her blush, and his hair starts to glow faintly. "No problem. It's very true." he says
Izzy's sword turns into a heart necklace studded with diamonds (https://www.danburymint.com/secure/Co...) and she hangs it around her neck. "I'm happy you think so," she says.
He shrugs, then glances at the sky. He frowns, "Looks like it's getting late. I guess i have to go." He brushes some of his blond hair out of his face, "See you tomorrow." He says as a statement. He winks and quickly, and lightly kisses her cheek. Then sprints away before he can see her reaction
Izzy smiles and walks to the Poseidon cabin, a renewed bounce in her step.
Alex drew his sword, and just did some exercises, his eyes closed. It was as if he did them a hundred times before.
Alex stopped to look atClara. “Too good not to do exercises?” He asked teasingly, his eyes glittering playfully.
Clara rolls her eyes smiling and pulls out her daggers. "Not going to use these on you, but I might as well show off." She throws three of them at a dummy about 30 feet away. They hit the throat, heart and lung. She grins at him. "Can you beat that?"
Alex caught them, aiming them at a dummy right next that one. He threw them, and hit right where the eyes would be. He Tok two more and aimed. One hit the very middle of the dummy's forehead, and one hit where the Adam's Apple would be.
"Not bad," Clara says, impressed, "You never told me you could throw knives."
Clara collects her daggers, hanging them back at her waist. When she comes back she grins. "Want to spar now?" Clara asks Alex.
Alex nodded, getting in a fighting stance. “Powers?” He asked grinning.
"Hmmm, if it will give you a better chance, then sure," Clara replies, smirking. She pulls out her sword.
Alex laughed. “Alright then Clar.” He said, waiting for her to attack.
"I'm not going first," Clara tells him with a smile.
“Love, I can wait all day.” Alex said, having a lot of patience.
