Suggested
break down of reading so that you can check in and let us know how you're going. The following breakdown is purely a suggestion and is therefore not set in stone.Rather than putting dates for each section I've done it so that it takes into account that not everybody will necessarily have the book at the same time.
Wk 1: Chapters 1-9
Wk 2: Chapters 10-19
Wk 3: Chapters 20-29
Wk 4: Chapters 30-39
Quick question, can anyone join in this or was there a signup? I'm just beginning the book today on Jan 1 so I'd love to join if I can.
I read this in November and thought it was a great story! Very gripping and inspirational! Hope everyone enjoys it!
Wow, already so gripping and the war is only just beginning! WW2 stories are my weakness.
I would like to join if that's okay. I actually bought this a few weeks ago on my cousin's recommendation and haven't had a chance to start yet.

How far are you at?

I'm about half way, there is a lot of historical war facts that I didn't know that are very interesting. Being British I know a lot about the War World 2 involving England and Germany, I didn't know anything about USA and Japan. It's an amazing story, I'm reading it on the Kindle which includes the pictures.

Yeah I have the paperback which includes the pictures as well which I think adds another awesome dimension to the story. You know usually books with lots of facts kind of make me bored but this is sooo interesting, and I feel as if this book covers so many things about the War that would usually fill up like 10 books, but does it in a way that still keeps your interest.

Finished it earlier this week, WOW! So amazing, what an inspiring life!
