A-Z Challenge - Year long challenge

What is it?
For this challenge you should read a book that has a connection to every letter of the alphabet.

You can use titles, author's first name, author's last name, or a combination of these. You can also choose to read the alphabet in order or in a random order. It's because of this that the challenge can be as easy or hard as you make it.

If you are using titles and the title begins with the words 'A' or 'The', those words do not count. For example 'The Orphan' is an 'O' book.

This challenge is ongoing and lasts for a year. You may begin at any time. If you complete the challenge once and want to do it again, go ahead!

Helpful hints to find books:

1 - You can do a search in listopia for books that begin with your difficult letter. There are several lists for various letters.

2 - Think of a word that begins with your difficult letter, such as 'Ultimate' or 'Unite' for 'U' then search for that word. Multiple books will be listed with that word in the title.

3 - Look at other people's lists. This is a great way to diversify your reading and to easily find books to read for this challenge.

What counts towards the challenge? Books, of course but what about novellas and graphic novels?

Our group minimum for any challenge is going to be 100 pgs. So if they meet that minimum they are good!

Each level is an added book per letter, so level 1 is only 1 book per letter, level 2 is 2 books.. etc.

Does going ing Alphabetical order earn extra points? What if you have 3 books on 1 letter but only 1 on another? Is it still only 1 point? Can a series name be counted? (Sorry I'm such a pain!)

You're not a pain, and this is a personal challenge, so not really any points. If you look at mine, I'm doing level 1 (easy), but still have like 5 books listed under G because I got carried away with a series. So if your goal is 1 per letter, then you only have to do 1, any extras are just personal reading bonuses. I do mine in random, because then if whatever book I pick up next fills a letter I haven't read yet, then it works, if not, oh well. Alphabetical, would mean you would have to read A, then B, the C..etc, and if you weren't planning on reading those letters, it might back up your to be read list even further if you're having to search for letters.
Sorry if I rambled, hopefully I was at least a tiny bit helpful in that.

Not too late! It a year long, so your start date is when you want it to be! So if you don't wanna start till Feb, then your end date won't be till next Feb!! Only the monthly's will be closing today!
