Appearance: Arn is a Scandinavian dream: white-blonde hair, a straight nose and sharp jawline, ocean-blue eyes, pale skin, and the sort of devilish smile only a pagan could muster. He’s tall, lean, a little on the thin side but not so skinny that he can’t throw a decent punch or two—straight, slightly-muscled shoulders, a flat stomach, and visible hipbones. If eyes are the window to the soul, Arn’s is clouded mystery; he’s surrounded in a cloak of it, a quiet and vaguely mischievous sort, with a brazen and trouble-making glint in the clam, blue expanse. Even when a storm comes into them, his face reflects an odd calm, almost unsettling, like the sensation of ozone in the air before a lightning strike. He has a tattoo on his shoulder, the Helm of Awe, and on his left wrist the rune Ansuz. At times, a large black raven can be found nearby, who he affectionately refers to as Munin—as if he can actually speak to it.
Personality: Arn is an aloof, mysterious playboy, full of sly grins and vague phraseology, who speaks as if he knows the future. He carries himself as if he’s careless, moving with the flow of Fate, content to go wherever it might take him—whether into love or into a fight. He’s confident to a fault, a counter-reaction to the storm of a person contained inside a vessel of calm. Because Arn is terrified—terrified of the future he sees, paralyzed by the prophecies he’s conjured. Whether or not they’re true is unable to be determined; the visions Arn sees, the ways in which he can tug and pull the strings of Fate are only ripples in a greater pond of providence—changing so quickly, and in such minute ways. This is to say Arn cannot control the future; he can only pluck it like the strings of a harp, and sense it, in shadows and mists, swirling patterns of what may be. And they haunt him.
