note: i am basing maria's behaviour regarding her lack of hearing on what i've experienced with/been told by a relative of mine who lost her hearing due to old age. maria lost her hearing around the age of 12, so some things may be different, but most of what i have to go off is what i've either learned from that relative or read online. other than her (the relative) i haven't ever met a deaf person, and i'm doing my best to properly represent them. in order to avoid misrepresenting deaf or hearing impaired people, i am going to base most of maria's behaviour regarding her deafness around that relative. just letting everyone know so they understand the situation. and if you yourself are deaf or hearing impaired or have met someone who is, feel free to pm me and share what you know

Personality ] Aki can be very goofy. Despite her hard boiled, blank and emotionless dispostion, she does have a really silly side to her. Whether or not it was her dull life that ended up taking a toll on her, or she's always been like that, will probably never be elaborated on. But what is known, is that she is secretly a bit clumsy, and also has a hard time paying attention to everything at once. Of course, she collects and replays every bit of information she hears and see's in her head over and over, but at the moment, it seems that she can't always concentrate on certain things. In fact, it is to be noted that Aki tends to, on occasion, space out, as she puts it, "Fondly reguards creation", as she listens to others talk.

Aki cares deeply for her friends. It's speculated that they are the only thing that really matters to her. She cares for them so much, that he suppresses all of his quiet habits and feelings in order to help them and pay attention to them as well as she can... even if he's never been the most reliable of father figures. As the Granddaughter of Satan, the dark side of the balance, she can't control herself at times. Which may be one of her fatal flaws. Being alive alone, proves a difficult challenge. Which is why standing still for prolonged amounts of time makes her very skiddish and irritable. Secretly, she doubts everything. She is very skeptical of everything's existence and at times, can't seem to seperate reality from fantasy.
