This story exists right now as a completed series on the forum r/NoSleep on Reddit.com and as an ongoing podcast adapted by the original author and published by QCode. I didn't which one is most convenient to add so I'm just gonna throw out everything I know here and cross my fingers, haha

Podcast Description: Tessa Thompson stars as an idealistic young journalist trying to make a name for herself by following a group of paranormal explorers, obsessed with a seemingly harmless pastime known as the Left/Right Game. The journey takes her into a supernatural world that she and the other members of the expedition can neither handle nor survive.

Page count: manual copy&pasting the Reddit post series it's about 58k words, so ~116 pages

Amazon just bought the rights to this story from QCode this past week too (cite). It'd be amazing if this story could be entered somewhere here on Goodreads somehow.

Thank you so much!

Thank you so much for your prompt reply, C.!
Yeah I knew adding this might be a stretch.
I thought it might be feasible to do though after reading the article NOT A BOOK ("NABbing a book") where it says "Goodreads considers the following to be valid book records:" and under that "serialized, web-only editions that have been subsequently published as completed works" and/or "short stories published online (the format should be "ebook"). However, see also." (I checked the 'see also' link and this short story still seems to qualify bc it hasn't been included in any of the NoSleep anthologies)

I know that whole article is about what materials to consider 'valid' for GR when the story is auto-posted to Goodreads by a feed, but if GR would consider this story valid if it were auto-posted, I thought maybe it could be valid to manually add it to Goodreads too.

If not, I totally understand and thank you guys for all ya do volunteering and making this site so great! <3
