One I own, but haven't read yet, is 'The Agony and the Ecstasy'. It's another 500+ page book, so I'm still debating lol. I am not normally put off by book length, but I'm not sure how many that length I want to take on for the challenge. Many prompts bring to mind long titles lol.
I created this list so I could hopefully get recommendations from others on what books would be good to read!https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/8...
I've picked Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet by Jamie Ford - looks interesting and has had some decent reviews
Okay, I stayed up all night reading Big Little Lies and I really enjoyed this book. Maybe it's the Kindergarten teacher in me, but this was a fun read!!!
Have started a list of books for this prompt - feel free to add your own!https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/8...

I'm planning to read Little, Big too, though it would equally work for one of the "had it for ages but not got round to it" type prompts!
I have also read Big Little Lies for this. I had actually never heard of the book, but I was struggling with this prompt and picked Big Little Lies simply because so many people were reading/ recommending it here. And I absolutely LOVED it! This is why this challenge is so great: this is a wonderful book that I would have probably never picked up hadn't it been for this prompt!

I'm more than likely going with Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.Updated. Ended up doing: Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail.
I can't decide between Big Little Lies and Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet. Both sound really interesting
Eva I read Big Little Lies & it's pretty cool. Get past the first few chapters & you'll really have a good laugh!Eva wrote: "I can't decide between Big Little Lies and Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet. Both sound really interesting"
I've already read North and South and really enjoyed that so I would definitely recommend that. Not sure what I'm going to read for this challenge. My options I'm weighing up between so far are Voluntary Madness - Norah Vincent, Innocent Traitor - Alison Weir, Private Memoirs & Confessions Of A Justified Sinner - James Hogg, and The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde - Robert Louis Stevenson. Not sure which I'm going to go with yet.
There were so many books I wanted to read for this prompt, but I decided to go with Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail since I picked it up at goodwill for .99 cents.
I've been having a lot of trouble with this one. If I read Much Ado About Nothing by William Shakespeare do you think that would count? Technically the antonym of Nothing is Something and the antonym of Much is Little, but I was thinking maybe Nothing and Much could count as antonyms? Or is that too much of a stretch? What do you guys think?
I stumbled across a suitable book when I had to read the sequel to The Knife of Never Letting Go, which ends on a real cliffhanger. I think I would have read The Ask and the Answer even if I couldn't have fit it to a prompt! As it turns out, it fits this prompt beautifully. For the pedants out there, the protagonist in this book speaks a slightly altered version of English and 'ask' is used as a replacement for 'question', along with its usual use as a verb. I can't recommend these two books highly enough for mature teens -- some great writing exploring real issues in a thoughtful way. I will probably be reading the third and final book, whether it fits a prompt or not!
I read Beauty: A Retelling of the Story of Beauty and the Beast. I wasn't really impressed. It was a quick read, but there was nothing very special about this retelling to me.
I read After the Fall, Before the Fall, During the Fall by Nancy Kress. Short little work of Sci-fi.
I read The Sisters Brothers It was a super quick read, and I really enjoyed it. This was a book that was definitely outside my wheelhouse so it was nice to enjoy it so much.
I read midnight in the garden of good and evil, that, a book I was supposed to read and the book that came out the year I was born were the toughest for me to find. Still haven't done the school one.
A Great and Terrible Beauty was also what I booked. (Someone above picked it.) It was alright. I had a friend who loves this genre so I was glad ot pass it on to her.I have added Big Little Lies to my TBR.

The definition of antonym is "a word opposite in meaning to another. Fast is an antonym of slow."
For example "War and Peace" or "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil".
