What book would you recommend that is relatively unknown that should be better known?

Ardal O'Hanlon is an Irish comedian known for his role in Father Ted, but in 1998 he wrote a book called Knick Knack Paddy Wack which is a very serious dive into alcoholism and depression - not funny at all, but poignant.
