Hows your reading going?

Did you start early?

Virginia (vlgrantham) | 6 comments I started today with A Casual Vacancy. It's my lowest rated owned book at 3.3.

Lizzy Seitz (cookinggurl43) | 53 comments Day One- I finished Under the Feet of Jesus by Helena María Viramontes which was a school read and comes in at a 3.5 I think. I'm giving it a 3. I loved the writing style and the story and was originally going to give it a four, however they stopped the story without telling me if my favorite character lived or not so I had to drop it down to a three. Hopefully tomorrow I can start on some of my actual TBR.

BlurryBug | 357 comments Day one I read a chapter of How to Be a Good Creature: A Memoir in Thirteen Animals
aka not my tbr book.
then I spent the evening listening to podcasts and building lego.
Today will hopefully be better

I started yesterday with My Year of Rest and Relaxation by Ottessa Moshfegg, as my lowest rated book to read: 3.68. I had another book for this prompt selected (Cicatriz by Sara Mesa, 3.24) but I already read it last week.

listened to 228 pages of Brave Face
and 38 pages of my OWL read How to Be a Good Creature: A Memoir in Thirteen Animals
Today I'm hoping to maybe finish my audiobook and maybe start my physical books

I finished the 2 books I had planned for my TBR! So now I will be reading Goodbye, Perfect by Sara Barnard, the next lowest rated book (3.79) and if I have the time... The Neverending Story by Michael Ende (4.18) for the highest rated book.

message 10: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 8 comments I am behind on my reading by a day. I got 136~ pages into Wrecked (my lowest rated book). Not sure if I am into it or not, but I am going to try to finish it. Iv'e already skimmed the end of the book-I'm THAT person- not sure if that made me more interested or more disinterested?

Lizzy Seitz (cookinggurl43) | 53 comments Day Two I started and DNFed Fall and Rise The Story of 9/11 by Mitchell Zuckoff . Because it was nonfiction it just wasn't what I was looking for and the story was just all over the place. Then I tried to start Obsidio (The Illuminae Files, #3) by Amie Kaufman but realized I had forgotten what happened in the other books so instead I started Illuminae (The Illuminae Files, #1) by Amie Kaufman . Whirlwind of a day while also working on essays and Camp NaNoWriMo

message 12: by Taya (new)

Taya Fosmire (bibliotaya) i read Obsidio (The Illuminae Files, #3) by Amie Kaufman during days 1 and 2 and completed it. i started The XY by Virginia Bergin for day 3 and decided not to continue with it as it was not grabbing and maintaining my interest

message 13: by Lizzy (new)

Lizzy Seitz (cookinggurl43) | 53 comments In the last minutes of Day 3 I am starting House of Earth and Blood (Crescent City, #1) by Sarah J. Maas and we shall see how far I get into it before I go to sleep

BlurryBug | 357 comments day 3 started and finished Trollvinter the highest rated book on my tbr
started Prozac Nation I'm 49 pages in and I can understand why it is rated low..
Continued my lowest rated ebook She Who Dares: Ten Trailblazing Society Women another chapter read. I enjoy it but I can see how it can be a bit of a bore.
