Mario | 3 comments Hello all,
I'm hoping you can help me locate a series of books from my childhood.
It was a child's picture book, but, in the same style as the usborne books, there was a puzzle/clue-deciphering element to it.
The name of the books were 'the jungle of' something or "the forest of...", I can't recall, it's over 30 years ago. The second book I remember from this series was called "the circus of" or "fairgrounds of" something, I wish I could remember!
Can anyone help me out???

Mario, I moved your request to the "Unsolved" folder because you're looking for one specific book.

Mario | 3 comments Hi Tiffany,

After your help earlier in the week, I've spent a lot of time trying to hunt as many of the books down as possible. Most are incredibly out of print or only available 'used'. Anyway, do you know if "Funfair of Evil" and "Fairground of Dread" are, in fact, the same book just with different titles? Both books seem to feature the notorious Dr. Killjoy...

Thanks,
Mario

Tiffany (driftwinds) | 6 comments Hi, Sorry it took me so long to respond. From what I can tell, they are different editions of the same book. Worldcat.org is a website libraries use to find books through interlibrary loan. It has a pretty extensive listing of editions of titles, and searching either of those titles comes up with the other as an alternate title on the same listing.
