I also believe she lived in a van
She moves with her mom with the promise things would be better and her mom had met this guy who hooked her up with a job and fronted her some money for this nice apartment and all looks well, till her mother doesn't come home because he is out drinking or on drugs or something and the daughter notice the bills were not paid. So she gets evicted and has to struggle to make it on her own.
