The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is a Victorian novel written by Robert Louis Stevenson in the 1800's, and it perfectly depicts Victorian drama and the scientific and religious beliefs of the Industrial Era in London. I would recommend this book for those who are 16 plus. The vocabulary is advanced and the plot is complicated because of language choices. It is considered a horror due to the time it was written in, but there is nothing that should be censored; in fact, I believe everyone should read this story to learn of the battle between the good and the evil parts of us all.
