Quite the interesting backstory for this novella.

I'm so happy my Mount Prospect Library has increased the number of Holds we can place in Overdrive now while the library is closed! It has enabled me to keep reading lots of popular ebooks from my lists. Recent favorites were The Turn of the Key by Ruth Ware, an update on the classic thriller The Turn of the Screw, and The Boy, The Mole, The Fox, and the Horse. Immediately after reading this lovely graphic novel by Charlie Mackesy I purchased 3 hardcover copies online - 1 for me and the other 2 to give to each of my adult kids. It's the perfect book for these difficult times! I was also engrossed by Anatomy of a Murder by Robert Travers about a courtroom murder trial, which luckily I checked out just before the library had to close. It still holds up beautifully although written over 60 years ago.

We were so glad to be able to increase our digital checkout numbers and we are so glad you are enjoying. Ruth Ware is a favorite of many on our staff. The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse is one, I personally, had not been aware of. Thank you for the recommendations and happy reading!

Thank you for recommending The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse! I thought I'd order it from one of my favorite indie bookstores and wow--I am blown away. You are correct that it is SO perfect for these strange times. I have so many pages in it bookmarked for me to go back to if I feel a little lost :)
