I think we each need to look at the books read from other teams and see what we could access and want to readTeams 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, 15, 18 all have books that I can get either from Overdrive or KU.
We need Alissa and Linda to weigh in too. Did you check out any of the other teams and see something you wanted to read, Geri?
Easier to find a book on the more organized threads (hats off, Linda- you’ve organized us very well)
I like 2 and 4, I don’t think I want to look anymore. They both have a couple books I can get or are on KU. I’m interested in Kylie Scott
and Katy Regnery
respectively. I can probably find something if everyone else decides something different while I’m working and can’t check.
Phew i'm really glad now I put the book titles on our Tracking post! That makes it easier for other Teams. Sorry I couldn't be here on the discussion - I was asleep!
I'm gonna be honest.. I sifted through almost all of the teams (except a few with not a lot of posts, as there is less variety) and I think I would prefer choosing Team 15 or Team 1
For the sole reason, that they do the Tracking Post similar to me and that I dont have to look through endless pages to finally find a book. If you guys agree on any other group thats fine too - I WILL find something, I am sure. I hope that most teams also use KU, scribd or similar things because I doubt everyone buys 20+ books for this challenge (??). I dont have a preference, I just like it organized.
I looked at the teams Linda linked, 15 and 1, and I found something on both. It does get tiring looking through! I may prefer 1 more than 15 just because they have done more tasks. Let’s all try to look at the same teams so we can decide on a team. Better to have just a few teams to choose from!
I should have linked some of the teams and their posts but I was getting tired of looking. Team two is post # 74 or 75 and it's all neatly laid out but further in the thread and some of the books are available on KU and there is a huge variety to choose from. I didn't even look at team 1 because they like m/m which Linda and I both don't care for
Oh thanks for clearing that up Laura!!! In that case, Team 2 is perfectly fine with me! Since Alissa mentioned 2 being fine too, lets lock it?
and oh youre right. I forgot about that tiny Team 1 detail... LOL I would have been confused when looking for a book XD
I dont particularly like the choices (i can get) but I found Last Chance Christmas on scribd, which is SUPER short. So I am going to go with that one!

Yes, let’s try to do 20 tasks. It seems like a good place to end. I know we didn’t do the most tasks. But I am happy with what we did do. It was fun!

Here you go!33. Each teammate reads a book another teammate read and rated 4 Stars or higher in the last 3 months. No pass for this task.
For this task, you will need to find a book one of your teammates read on or after March 5th and was rated at least 4 Stars. Please provide a link to the teammate's review or read shelf in your completion.
this would have been the perfect time to read One True Loves FINALLY but I saw you read this in January, Laura!!! Dang!!! I guess I will read it after the challenge... first thing !!
I actually have Wallbanger right now which Geri only gave 3 stars. Maybe next week! I'm going to try Truth or Beard...Alissa rated it 4 stars recently
I can't find anything... but I am also really tired. I will probably go with The Overdue Life of Amy Byler but lately I read so much romance/chick lit I don't know if I am in the mood at all. So I think I will look some more tomorrow. I wish I could find The Color Purple but unfortunately its unavailable everywhere :(
What about Where the Lost Wander? Historical fiction..I know you like that. There were a few I would have picked from Geri's shelf but too long of a wait!
Edit- Where the Lost Wander was free on KU... not sure if it still is!

I read into that when I wanted to join for the buddy read. Unfortunately it was too hard for me to understand. I can't pinpoint why exactly but I had real trouble following the plot even only in the first two chapters. (language-wise.) :( Otherwise I would totally go for it, I know you all enjoyed it.
I am rereadng The Unhoneymooners. It works for an individual challenge too. It is as much fun as I remembered. 😀

Here is your LAST task!100. Read a book with an average rating of 4.2 or higher. No pass for this task. You can read as many books as you wish, each book completed earns a point.
The books you choose need to have an average GR rating of 4.2 or higher. You can find this number on the main book page, use the average rating in your qualification. There is no pass for this task - so every team member needs to complete a book before the task is considered complete and points are tallied. Completions need to be posted prior to midnight US EDT on Tuesday, June 9th when the challenge ends.
Impressive ladies! We definitely read more books than I thought we would. I finally have a book that will fit 3 of my team challenges:-)
I'm going to start with
Completely agree Laura this has been a lot of fun and I would definitely play again!!Going to look for a book or two now.

Actually I REALLY liked it. I wasn't in the mood for it at all, but the narrator was so good she really pulled me into it and it was a lot of fun!!
and yes!! I also did not think we would read so many books! but this challenge came at a perfect time and also it was so much fun!!! definitely became my favorite challenge and I hope it's going to be a yearly staple. Would love to play it again!
edit: I will read Dig.!
And what is "EDT" ? Is it eastern Time? like, New York?
I thought the challenge was over? The information said it ended June 6. Well, I will search for something...
Oh! I just saw that MK's first post in this thread says June 6th, too. But the one after that says June 9th. I always figured its Tuesday, since it started on a Tuesday (officially) too. We don't have to do the task if it doesn't fit for you!! 20 tasks is plenty!
