MountainKat | 31883 comments Yes, she does. 😊 Here is your next task anyway.

45. Read 4 books by one of the 2020 FACs.

I'll be nice and let you know who they are so you don't have to go searching. 😉

January - Tessa Bailey
February - Jeaniene Frost
March - T.J. Klune
April - Julia Quinn
May - Sarina Bowen
June - Nora Roberts

And yes, you can use June too. 😊

Aiswrya | 2053 comments I absolutely loved this book! The romance was so sweet and steamy. I haven’t read too many M/Ms, which could be why I loved it so much, but still, definitely worth a read!

What did you think of the book?

message 416: by Autumn (new)

Autumn Miller | 130 comments I really liked it! I haven’t read anything from her before but I’m definitely going to check out more.

Aiswrya | 2053 comments Autumn wrote: "I really liked it! I haven’t read anything from her before but I’m definitely going to check out more."

Awesome! Night Prince is really a spin off series. Night huntress is the original one, and I have to say, a much better series than Night Prince.

message 418: by Autumn (new)

Autumn Miller | 130 comments I'll have to check that one out next. Thanks for the tip! :)

message 419: by MountainKat, Moderator (new)

MountainKat | 31883 comments Here is your next task:

21. Read a book recommended to you by a teammate - no pass for this task.

You can do the recommendations however you wish - to the group, to each individual, to the person below you on the list or ?? - it's up to you. If you want to provide a specific shelf to pick from, it needs to have a minimum of 10 book on it.

message 420: by Aiswrya (new)

Aiswrya | 2053 comments I think a group recommendation would be best :) We can pick whatever we like!

My recommendations: https://www.goodreads.com/review/list...

message 421: by Aiswrya (new)

Aiswrya | 2053 comments Guys, whenever you have some time, throw in yours :)

message 422: by Autumn (new)

Autumn Miller | 130 comments I don’t have a recommendation shelf but I can make one. For this challenge, we all read the same book? Or we just pick one from a recommendation list?

message 423: by Aiswrya (last edited Jun 01, 2020 03:15PM) (new)

Aiswrya | 2053 comments You don’t need need a shelf. Feel free to just list books.

Each of us has to read a book someone else has recommended. Technically, we could each pick a different person and a different book.

message 424: by Autumn (new)

Autumn Miller | 130 comments Got it! I’ll post some options as soon as I can.

message 426: by Aiswrya (new)

Aiswrya | 2053 comments Awesome, thanks! I've read most of your recs. I like the sound of Burn and it's on audible escape (so yay!), but I'm going to wait for Nikitha's and Deanie's recommendations before I decide :)

message 427: by Aiswrya (new)

Aiswrya | 2053 comments Oh and Deanie, let us know if you don’t find anything you like. We can definitely pick something from your Want To Read shelf 😊

message 429: by Deanie (last edited Jun 02, 2020 09:37AM) (new)

Deanie Nelder | 87 comments Oops. I made a recommendations shelf and totally forgot to post it.

https://www.goodreads.com/review/list...

It's got cozy mystery, YA and MG fantasy, and a lot of romance. If you haven't read either Susan Stoker or Kristen Painter, they're two authors I'd really recommend.

message 430: by Aiswrya (new)

Aiswrya | 2053 comments I like this task! So many additions to my TBR :)

message 431: by Aiswrya (new)

Aiswrya | 2053 comments Hey guys! I’ve finished my book, will post my completion tomorrow. I’m beat!

Last week of the challenge! I can’t believe it ran by so quickly!! I feel like I just met you guys (except Nikitha of course, who I’ve known all her life, with her being my sister and all. Did I mention that before now? 🤨) and we’re already at the tail end of the race 😳

message 432: by Nikitha (new)

Nikitha | 500 comments I'm about 60% done, I'll finish tomorrow as well!
Haha no I don't think we mentioned we're sisters before this :p
But ya I can't believe the last almost two months just flew by! This challenge has been so much fun for mee

message 433: by Autumn (new)

Autumn Miller | 130 comments I didn’t know you guys were sisters. That’s awesome 😃 I’ve been trying to get my sister on Goodreads for a while lol

This challenge has been so fun. I think we all made a great team.

message 434: by Nikitha (new)

Nikitha | 500 comments You should definitely get her to join! Btw Autumn, I've been reading Here Be Sexist Vampires and I really like it. Thanks for the recommendation!

Zack (Cold Fury Hockey, #3) by Sawyer Bennett

message 439: by Aiswrya (new)

Aiswrya | 2053 comments Oooh you picked Zack! Did you like it?

message 440: by Autumn (new)

Autumn Miller | 130 comments I did! It was pretty predictable but I like the characters a lot and thought the writer was well done. How did you like burn?

message 441: by Aiswrya (new)

Aiswrya | 2053 comments The story started off very well, but I thought the romance was very artificial. It was very insta-lovey. And both the mating and anchoring was so abrupt LOL. I thought the author would build it up more and get us to connect with the people more. The sex was super weird too, with the guy being all domineering, which kinda made me dislike Knox. TBH, this was my biggest problem. The fantasy part of the story was great, but the romance was a let down ☹️

message 442: by Autumn (new)

Autumn Miller | 130 comments Yeah, I kind of remember skimming through the romance parts lol. I liked the world building a lot and thought the idea of anchors was interesting. I haven’t read any of the others in the series though.

MountainKat | 31883 comments Sisters?! How fun!

Here is your next task:

55. Pick another team and each member reads one book that was read by a member for this challenge. No pass for this task.

As a team, you need to select another team and all read books that team has read. Include the team name/number in your completion posts. Please provide a link to the other team member's completion post in your qualification, at a minimum provide the message number.

message 445: by Aiswrya (new)

Aiswrya | 2053 comments Thanks Kat!

I have no preference on the team. Let me know which 😊 just heading to bed

message 446: by Autumn (new)

Autumn Miller | 130 comments Team 1 (Loitering Layabouts) has the most comments and they have completed 27 tasks, so they'll probably have a lot to choose from.

Here's the link to their thread: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

message 447: by Autumn (new)

Autumn Miller | 130 comments Team 14 (Pumped Up Sisters) also has completed a good amount of tasks. I think it said they’re on task 19 (I’m on my phone so I can’t post the link easily. Sorry!)

I’m looking through team 1’s books and they’re mostly m/m, which I don’t typically read, but everyone else wants to go with their thread I’m fine with it.

message 448: by Nikitha (new)

Nikitha | 500 comments I have no idea how to access other team's lists, I'm really clumsy with technology so I'm ok with whatever is picked.
If none of us have a preference, we can just pick a random number from 1 to how many ever teams are there and go with their books! So let me know

message 449: by Autumn (new)

Autumn Miller | 130 comments I like the idea of a random number. That sounds fun 😂

message 450: by Autumn (new)
