Awesome! Night Prince is really a spin off series. Night huntress is the original one, and I have to say, a much better series than Night Prince.

It's got cozy mystery, YA and MG fantasy, and a lot of romance. If you haven't read either Susan Stoker or Kristen Painter, they're two authors I'd really recommend.

I did! It was pretty predictable but I like the characters a lot and thought the writer was well done. How did you like burn?

The story started off very well, but I thought the romance was very artificial. It was very insta-lovey. And both the mating and anchoring was so abrupt LOL. I thought the author would build it up more and get us to connect with the people more. The sex was super weird too, with the guy being all domineering, which kinda made me dislike Knox. TBH, this was my biggest problem. The fantasy part of the story was great, but the romance was a let down ☹️

Yeah, I kind of remember skimming through the romance parts lol. I liked the world building a lot and thought the idea of anchors was interesting. I haven’t read any of the others in the series though.
