Craig Snider For any King fans out there, you know that many, if not all, of his books have connections to the Dark Tower. I'm wondering what other authors you've come across who have done something similar, where the author's own mythology permeates their entire body of work. Do any come to mind? I'd love to look into them.

Donna David Mitchell comes to mind with recurring characters in his novels, as a way of him building a shared universe inhabited by them.

James Howard King's son Joe Hill only has three novels out and his last one not only makes references his first two but also to several of his dad's books.

Papaphilly Terry Brooks has tied two of his series together, which is most of his writing.

Gianluca Many of Brandon Sanderson's books are connected by certain characters and take place in the same fictional universe (The Cosmere).

Yeah, that's right, he did! I read an interview where King said they feed off one another when they write together, but that Joe would probably never really write anything having to do with the DT series. But, I do love his work too.

Jana B. Gary A. Braunbeck writes books like that. They are horror like SK and I loved them. I didn't realize they were interconnected when I read that first one. He was an unknown to me at the time. I bought another book of his almost immediately after finishing the first and discovered "links" to the first, although I don't believe they are marked as a series. I think it's referred to as the Cedar Hills Cycle or something like that. In fact, I think you can read them in practically any order. Since then I have read most all of his work and they most all have connections. Hope that helps!
