Jenna shook her head. "I have food at home."((She has a brother, but the person who plays him hasn't been active since the beginning of this group.))

((Okay. And now looking they must have left the group. A few months ago when I checked they were still here just not active :/ I guess the brother needs to killed off? Poor Jenna.))
((Can someone take them over since they were only used like once or twice or do they technically need to be killed off?))

((oh hey guys sorry for the wait! So nice of you guys to though, thank you!))Park was completely unaware for only a few moments before the noise of talking startled him awake. He clambered for the small axe at his hip, gripping it tightly as he looked around. Someone was here.
So much for sleep.
Tense, he crouched and moved forward to investigate, hugging the bookcases. Every part of him screamed with adrenaline and the sore aching urge to rest, but he kept forward, determined.

Cody wasn't completely sure what to say now, so he said nothing, going back to his book.
He peered around the corner of the shelves, trying to get a quick glance of what was going on. Cody hadn't made any sounds that signified any sort of issue, but Park didn't know what to believe. Maybe Cody was plotting against him? Park could never be to careful.A girl was standing there though, covering the floor with ice. She had the same look that Park felt plastered on her face-the 'calm and deeply comforted' look. He felt connected to her, somewhat.
Leaning back on his heels and crouching, he waited for her to speak, curious to what her voice would sound like.

((Sorry. this has been a crazy week, I've been neglecting most of my characters.))Jenna bit her lip, still a little nervous. he seemed okay enough. she headed a little farther in, planning on just grabbing a couple books and leaving. She happened to be heading in Park's direction.
((your fine man, it's cool))Park backed up at her approach, adrenaline coursing through him. She was coming closer. Crap, what was his plan of action? Was it too late to find an exit??
He spun around in a panic, knocking into a shelf and tripping over a pile of books in the process. Oh geez.
Jenna jumped at the loud noises he was making, ice spreading around her again.
"I-i'm sorry sorry so sorry....." he scooted away frantically, murmuring under his breath. He watched the ice growing between them, scared. Was she trying to catch him? Hurt him?
Jenna calmed down a bit, the ice again slowly retreating. "Sorry....I wasn't expecting..."

Jenna nodded. "Yeah...just jumpy."
Park said nothing, taking the cool down as a chance to scramble back into his corner. If Cody knew her and was worried about her, maybe she was okay? The logical part of him felt small as his irrationality bubbled over.He needed to think. Write it out or something.
He took a few deep breaths, trying to calm down as he sat in his corner, quiet. He should apologize soon, come out and be normal and introduce himself. But here he was, crawled into a corner like a scared animal, panting and shaking from the exertion. What the f*ck was wrong with him?
"I'm Park." He said out loud, throwing himself in without warning. Good.

((connor=cody?))Park nodded quickly, slightly reassured by his words. He didn't know how this guy did it, being so calm and completely relaxing to be around.
He felt almost open in his presence, like the clam shell he surrounded himself with was being pried open. Or was just opening on it's own volition.
He needed to sleep.
"I'm sorry you guys. I'm just really tired right now." He said, giving a little half smile at his own excuse.
Jenna was still nervous and a bit jumpy, maybe coming here today hadn't been the best idea. "I didn't mean to scare you..."
"It's okay. I get it, you're fine." Park quickly dismissed, snuggling into his hoodie and trying to forget there were people there.

Park shrugged before remembering the best way to deflect was to pretend he didn't hear the question. He looked up at Cody without thinking, imitating Cody's voice back at him."I'm fine. Just make sure it's safe. Please."

"I...." He hesitated before shrugging, not sure how to answer. It felt better not to respond to that sort of question, or else he'd have to do more voices, imitate some cats and door squeaks and reveal every bit of usefulness about himself that could be exploited. Not that realistically he thought Cody would do that-Cody felt unbelievably safe to be around- but the precaution was already set to him, already automatic.
"Cool..." Jenna muttered, eyes a bit wide at his power. Her nervousness momentarily forgotten.((Hey Ember, mind maybe bringing her brother?))

Cody smiled slightly. "You don't have to be afraid. You can say it."

A few patches of ice were still around near the entrance where Lucas was.
"It just happens.." He murmured, vulnerable on the ground.

She turned at the sound of his voice, smiling when she saw him. "Hey Lucas!"

Lucas gave a strained smile in response to his sister. "Hey. What are you doing here?"
"I had just come in to grab a couple books."

Cody tried a reassuring smile. "Don't worry, I'm not going to hurt you."
She shook her head, "Not yet, I'll get them now." She quickly darted to where the kids section was, looking for the sequel to the book she'd recently read.

Jenna gave a nod, soon coming back with a few books clutched to her chest. She stood near her brother.
She nodded. "Yeah." she said, then glanced back at Cody and Park. "It was nice to meet you!"

Lucas frowned. "Alright, let's go home."
