Do these books have characters that cross-over between the stories or are they set in the same "world"?

Based on the blurbs it looks like they are only connected by being re-imagined fairy-tales. GR does not consider theme to be enough to be a series. So we need confirmation that they are a series by GR standards before we can add the book.

Also, authors can't edit series pages, only librarians and staff can, which is why you keep getting the home page.

Well, I think that rule is rather silly. There are small elements/motifs in each story that are echoed through the series, such as pieces of jewellery, trees etc, but the characters don't cross. They are still a series though, and just because one character doesn't move to the next book doesn't make them less so.
