You are amazing! What do you think motivated you to read more than double what you originally thought you would?
Cassandra wrote: "You are amazing! What do you think motivated you to read more than double what you originally thought you would?"Thank you so much :)! And you are also amazing :-D, even more - because you also exceed your goal for reading challenge, even with work as moderator here in the group, and all other things!
For me probably the best motivation is amount of books I have at home all the time - my purchased books or e-books, and also many books from the library. And I just want to read them within a reasonable time, I read on the way to work, when I have a break, and so on… Also I like most of the books I already read, each one has something special (great plot, interesting characters, amazing location, ...), so why not read another one. And everyone at home reads a lot, my best friends also usually read few books each week, and we talk about these books, recommend them to each other, and through this we definitely motivate each other to read even more – and I love it :).
And as my goal at the beginning I want to have a number that I know I can read even if there are some unexpected events, etc.
What motivates you the most? And do you have planned ahead of time what you going to read next, or do you decide as the mood strikes? Because I never know what I will be reading next, and most of the time I switch back to back between books I read at that time, normally it is up to four.
Thank you! That's awesome! I wish I had more real-life friends that enjoy books as much as I do. My dad reads a lot, but he prefers mystery which is one of my least favorite genres.
I usually stick to one, sometimes two books at a time. I plan my books out about a month in advance for challenges, but it changes depending on what I pick up at the library or if anything else catches my attention.
I went way over my books and pages goals this year, but I'm not sure what I'll set my 2016 goal to yet. Part of me wants to go for a new all-time record, but I also don't want to get stuck with a goal that seems unattainable. I'll be graduating college this year, so my life will change significantly in June and I'm not sure what effect that will have on my reading.

I try to stick to one few times, but I never managed to do that for more than two days :). And I´m not sure what goal I´ll set for 2016 too - maybe stay with similar number or plus 50, something like that...because you never know...
And congratulations in advance for graduating college - that´s great! I thought that when I finish university I will have less time to read, but eventually it's the opposite - I can read even more. But during my studies I already worked part time, so now I have actually one less duty - now it´s just work.
Good luck with finishing your studies!
Hopefully it will be the same for me! I work part-time and go to school too, so you may be right about having more time. I'll just have to remind myself that it's okay to be flexible with my goal later on.

Happy that I can recommend some good ones :)! And I hope you will like Hide and Seek, it's absolutely amazing book - probably best with a cup of hot tea or chocolate during the long fall/winter afternoons.
