The Girl Next Door seems to be a different story to The Wolf Next Door, why should they be combined?
I know they seem to be a different story, but The Wolf Next Door was based on The Girl Next Door, and modified a lot.
By the descriptions, the characters seem to be in different settings and situations, with different motivations and it's also had a supernatural element added to it. I'm not sure whether this falls within the range of modification that can be done to a book while still being considered the same as the original story rather than an adaptation...
Would it help if I changed the description? Because it is the same book - they are short stories and this one needed to change, so I adjusted it into The Wolf Next Door with different characters and such. The Girl Next Door doesn't exist anymore and I don't want to confuse people by keeping it as a book, when I have no plans of every publishing it as it is described on Goodreads.

Then you can indicate that it is out of print, and was modified to become The Wolf Next Door.

Once that is done, I will be setting The Wolf Next Door as the primary edition. While The Girl Next Door is just another edition.
