I'm in!! I'm also pretty intimidated by this book. The first time I read it was on audio and didn't like it much, so I'm giving it another chance.
You’ve definitely inspired me to give it a go. I just went and picked up my paperback copy today. (My local Barnes and Noble is taking orders online and delivering your order curbside). I have to admit, I know absolutely nothing about this book. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or not. Sometimes I like to jump into a book blind, but I think I’ll enjoy this more if I do a little bit of prep work ahead of time :-)
I'm in, too! It's been on my shelf for ages and this is just the incentive I need to finally dive in!
I realize this question doesn't belong here but will there be a book challenge for May? I find it has me read books I probably wouldn't have chosen to read such as Middlemarch. I really like participating in a challenge even if I won't have the book read in time such as Middlemarch for April. I definitely won't have it read by the end of April, but I am still enjoying the book.

As part of the #ClassicsCommunity, I’m inviting all of you to join me in reading George Eliot’s Middlemarch in April!
I’ve made no secret in the past that Middlemarch has always been a book that has intimidated me — due to its size and the fact that it’s sometimes touted as the best book in the English language. That’s a lot of hype to live up to!
But as there are lots of us who are spending more time at home, and with an increased need for social interaction, I thought I’d create a readalong that we can all be a part of. Depending on your copy (and judging by mine), you’ll only have to read approximately 30 pages per day to finish by the end of the month. Which I think makes it very manageable!
⭐️ You can read it in whatever form you wish - as a physical book, an eBook, audiobook, or other!
⭐️ You can read it in its original English or as a translation
⭐️ Share your thoughts using #MiddlemarchChallenge and #ClassicsCommunity on Instagram and Twitter
⭐️ Join in with the discussions here on our Goodreads page!
⭐️ More to be revealed soon!
I’m really looking forward to diving into Middlemarch - and I hope you’ll join me! 💕
