ABANDONED. Ginger for Two

In this current climate of isolation, I’m trying to help out a woman in her sixties with her nostalgia. She had a favourite childhood book which was called Ginger for Two. It was about twin girls who were red heads and their exploits. She doesn’t remember the author but has tried to find this book as have I without success. I would love to get this lady reunited with her beloved childhood book🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
She thinks it was Scottish or British, and published around the 50’s, it was a dark red book with a cloth type covering. It was shorter but wider and thicker than a Ladybird book. She read it probably in the late 50s early 60s but it was second hand so could of been older. She also can’t remember it having any pictures but could be could be wrong. Sorry it’s not a lot to go on!
