The titles end up there because readers of your blog that are also GoodReads members read them and want to add them to the database. As GoodReads considers "posted to a blog" as "published", it is in line with GoodReads policy for them to do so. If you do not wish for the story to appear on your page, you should make it clear to your readers that you do not wish the story to be catalogued on GoodReads, and remain vigilant in case one of them ignores you and does it anyway, in which case you will have to go through the same process to try to have it removed. Of course, as long as you have the story posted, there will always be the possibility that someone will include it on GoodReads. You will have to personally request the deletion of such records each time, as there is no way for the system to prevent their creation and the entries themselves are valid, so librarians will not delete them.

I am going to be posting a story this week and I do not want it to appear on my author page. Does anyone know how the titles even end up there and how I can stop that from happening?
Thanks!
