SOLVED. MG or YA paranormal series boy doesn’t fit in with his family because he doesn’t have magic

I’m looking for this book for my son. It is either middle grade or young adult. I read the description in my library’s app, but it doesn’t keep search history nd I didn’t tag it. Anyway, it is considered paranormal and I believe it was set in modern times. The blurb focused on a young boy, 12ish, whom lived in a large home with his father (the leader) and his aunts and uncles and cousins. His cousins are able to create golems, werewolves, goblins, etc, with their magic, but the boy hasn’t been able to do anything yet. There is a library in the house that has only ten books in a language the children don’t understand but are expected to learn. It felt like this family keeps away from the rest of town and are very secretive. The children aren’t allowed to let anyone outside of the family know they have powers.
It was a fairly long book - over 300 pages I believe.
It is not by Rick Riordan, but was grouped in the same genre.
