Missing/incorrect book information

The ISBN quoted here refers to the hardback version, but it is recorded as a paperback. The cover photo is missing - this is the same as the paperback version, which is shown separately with its correct ISBN on the list.

According to Amazon and various sellers at AbeBooks, this ISBN belongs to a paperback/softcover edition:

Covers cannot be copied from one edition to the next, and the cover on Amazon and AbeBooks is an ugly stock image.

Not only is the cover ugly, and common to most eBay and Amazon entries, but the same erroneous text is copied and pasted. This is what the hardcover (a copy of which I possess) version has to say about this 1982 Ardis publication:
