HELP! -- I Listed a Giveaway 2 Days Ago and It's Still 'Pending Approval'

Hi! So for Xmas, my family bought my some hard copies of my books for me to start my first Goodreads giveaway. Two days ago, I created the giveaway and filled out the details. I made sure to click the activation link sent to my email. It still hasn't been approved...

Someone said that my book IS showing up on the Goodreads page, but that the giveaway ends tomorrow? If so, I did NOT do that, and it is a glitch.

I only have limited access to the computer now, so I was really hoping that the book would have been approved by now so I can start advertising. Did it get hidden in the queue, or somehow not get through? And why is it showing up as ending tomorrow? The set end date should be February, and it should be a U.S. giveaway only. (I can't afford international.)

Nenia, it's not really any of my business, but why would you give your work away for free?

It'll attract poor reviews (because people will download it simply because it's free and not because it's their favourite genre)

And it'll only serve to encourage a certain type of reader (who certainly wouldn't want to work for free themselves) to wait until everyone else's books are free.

GR staff don't work over the weekend, so at the earliest it won't be approved until Monday.

Karl - its a giveaway for a paperback, not a free download. Plus giveaways are a competition, there is no obligation on winners to review.
