If you get through the first Dorothy book, I'd be happy to join in on the rest!

Deidra (deidram) | 389 comments What I'm reading this month if anyone wants to do a buddy read:
Dating You / Hating You by Christina Lauren Catching Jordan by Miranda Kenneally A Darker Shade of Magic (Shades of Magic, #1) by V.E. Schwab Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid The Program (The Program, #1) by Suzanne Young Cinders & Sapphires (At Somerton, #1) by Leila Rasheed The Fountains of Silence by Ruta Sepetys

❀ Crystal ✿ - PEACE ☮ LOVE ♥ BOOKS (crystaldc18) | 10122 comments I just set up a BR for World War Z An Oral History of the Zombie War by Max Brooks on the 1st in another group if anyone here wants to join?

message 105: by HeatherH (new)

HeatherH (bkwrm85) | 2156 comments I have several buddy reads set up but these are the few that are on my TBR because of "pick-it-for-me" type deals or BR's in other groups so if anyone in this group wants to buddy read any of them let me know!

Warcross (Warcross, #1) by Marie Lu The Grace Year by Kim Liggett Splintered (Splintered, #1) by A.G. Howard Belle Révolte by Linsey Miller The Darkest Part of the Forest by Holly Black The Hating Game by Sally Thorne Ruthless Gods (Something Dark and Holy, #2) by Emily A. Duncan

I'm reading the Hating Game on the 5th (or starting it anyways) and Ruthless Gods from the 8th (pending the pandemic doesn't delay it being delivered) but everything else I'm open to dates. Second half of the month is a bit more open for me though!

Natalia (natalken) | 164 comments Did you start your reading yet?
I woke up with a headache today, but I'll try to read some pages of A List of Cages and then maybe I'll listen to some audiobook if it doesn't go away.

message 107: by Dannii (new)

Dannii Elle (danniiellereads) | 9888 comments I'm just about to start my reading for the month :) I'm still playing catch up with some of the books I was supposed to have already read last month though. Oops!

I hope you're feeling better soon, Natalia.

What are your thoughts so far? This is actually one of my favorite reads, but totally get how it could not be for others!

I'll be watching for final thoughts on it! Are you physically reading or listening to the audio?

message 120: by Sarah A (new)

Sarah A (barrowerofbooks) | 1518 comments @HeatherH
I am physically reading it. Have you done the audio or physically read it? I think the audio maybe a little better for this book.

message 121: by HeatherH (new)

HeatherH (bkwrm85) | 2156 comments I actually did both, only a month or so apart lol. They're both pretty unique experiences but the audio is a lot of fun. It has a full cast and it really well done.

I may have to see about trying to get the audio from the library then.

Jamie | 12271 comments Ooh I might have to listen to that for a full cast listen!

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments So I should finish my first book today Frost Burned (Mercy Thompson, #7) by Patricia Briggs It has a lot of I and A's because of the author so should I use it for A and I or use the two R's or the P?

message 125: by Pragya (new)

Pragya (pragyaagr13) | 1236 comments @Anna- A is common alphabet but P will be harder to get. If possible, you should definitely claim P.

Now we just need Gabriella, Katelyn, and Ellie and we are all checked in! ^_^

message 129: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 12271 comments Yeah P will be the trick.

Just a reminder to everyone that we can also use letters of the series a book is a part of. Unless it’s a stand-alone of course. Might come in handy to be aware of this rule.

Also other languages for titles.

Oh yeah.

I can use another P for my book then. I will have a lot of P's then lol. Because I'm reading the Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs.

message 131: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 12271 comments Yay for the p’s being covered!

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments Jamie wrote: "Yay for the p’s being covered!"

Yup. And if we need I's or A's those will be covered too. L's will be the hardest for me with those books unless I look for alt editions.

I'll read Prosper's Demon by K.J. Parker tomorrow and Made Things by Adrian Tchaikovsky on Saturday. HeatherH (bkwrm85) | 2156 comments I have only a couple of hours left of Feed (Newsflesh Trilogy, #1) by Mira Grant so it should be done and posted soon. About 20% into The Loners (Quarantine, #1) by Lex Thomas but not loving it so not sure how quick I'll get through it :(
I have a few BR's planned over the next week too!
