Michelle (to-whatever-end) | 4 comments I am an aspiring writer going to university next fall and I was wondering what kind of classes I should look for when choosing my courses and such?

If your school has any writing workshops, I strongly recommend those––that is, classes where you work with other creative writing students, turn in stories and get feedback on them from the whole class. They're extremely helpful, in my experience! They tend to be hard to get into though, especially as a freshman, but I'd say at least try to get into one if you can. :)

Well, college classes tend to be a bit more specific than that. But yes, anything in those departments is good. :)
