(view spoiler)[ somehow I feel as though so much has happened but yet nothing has happened at the same time if that makes any sense? What Ruby saw in sen's mind doesn't surprise me - I think a lot of the agents aren't necessarily in to help the kids vs helping themselves. I'm a bit worried about the other groups. Can they really be faring that well? Are they all heading to the same place after Ruby got in their mind before they left? I feel like I'm a little in the dark about that whole plan. I am split between what Cole says and what Liam says - they both want the same thing but have very different ideas of how to achieve it. I also think it's crazy that Alice is totally ok with just hunkering down in this hide out. I know she's getting first hand awesome stories but doesn't she have a life otherwise? Family. Friends. Whatever - not important. What is important? The revelation that Clancy has been controlling Ruby for so long! I honestly never pieced it together - though I did wonder what kept him from jumping into the minds of people there. He obviously could do it even from his cell... and Cole 😭😭😭 one I can't believe what happened to Cole and even the role that Ruby played in it. What a crazy twist around in the plot. While I'm curious where Liam is after all of it I really want to know what happens now that ruby is back at Thurmond... (hide spoiler)]

Even though the beginning of the book was a little slow the last handful of chapters really made up for it and had me turning pages like you wouldn't believe! I was not expecting Ruby to get caught when she was uploading the virus. I also wasn't expecting Clancy to have had the procedure and actually lose his abilities (hmmm...) But I like how Ruby gave him happy memories :) While I'm sad to see the series end I'm also satisfied with how it did (hide spoiler)]
