#1 - Taking a looks. Doesn't looks as bad as some of the others yet, but still a modified record.Now that is a weird one. Apparently the edition you linked to has been released 2 times with the same ISBN13 but the first one had an ISBN10 with an X instead of a 9 as the last digit (which of course is invalid.
#1 - Think I got it all straightened out, including adding a valid edition that somebody deleted, and adding the new edition that the one you linked to was changed to be.Was going to create an ACE for you but looks like it is already here: The Japanese Screen

#7/11/14 Hey Edwina!I think we've cracked this one, remove the 150 (price) from the end add a 0 at the beginning for English language group, 440 indicates Dell, 01725 is item number and generating the check digit...
This book's converted ISBN is 0440017254 and ISBN13 is 9780440017257. However there don't appear to be any online records of this book associated with this ISBN. On the other hand, there aren't any other books associated with it either. Plus, the ISBN for the book you linked has a 1 instead of a 0 at the beginning of the item number, which makes me think they considered the 0 taken.
I'll add your book as a separate edition with a note about the conversion... Done.

The one you linked to had a valid ISBN for that book, so I created an ACE and used the cover from the edition you linked to.

#7 Hmm, closer inspection of the original record reveals there's something fishy going on... A search for the ISBN brings up the same book, but with a different cover and a publication date of August 1980. The current cover, according to the log, magically appeared on the record at some point in time, while the date was, in fact, August 1980 before being changed (confusion resulting from the wrong cover being attached, perhaps?). Is this a case where I should update the record to match Amazon and replace the cover?ETA: Amazon
#17 - Interesting. Taking a closer look.I would say to leave the cover alone, because nothing says it was not released with that cover/ISBN combo. I would almost not bother reverting the Date either, since I cannot find much about it.
I would create the ACE for the edition requested though.

I think that's a bogus ISBN on the edition you linked to here, but I can't prove it. Created an ACE for your copy here:

found a nice cover on amazon that confirms your SBN in the upper right corner (even if Amazon has it attached to the wrong edition -- bad amazon!)

Re 47: Uh oh, Nandar, you blinked and you missed it again! Edwina's ISBN is different than the book she linked; the link leads to the book most likely to be cannibalised. If you check its log, you'll see what I mean.
