A Trial Marriage cover uploaded.
Must put camera on charger now so if you need any more pictures it will have to be a little wait until I'm able to take more.

When you get a chance, I will need that cover, as the item numbers are different. Sorry to keep troubling you with those! DX

I have to admit that it does seem a shame to replace perfectly good cover photos with my worn out book covers and I don't understand why those numbers are so important but if it helps to build the GR database then I'm happy to help with that.

My copy:

That aside, I thought I knew why the numbers were important; in the Harlequin editions those numbers can be used to identify the precise ISBN a cover is linked to. Here however there seems to be no connection, which seems totally illogical to me; why have a product code that you don't use for the product code section of the ISBN? I'm thinking there might be some formula they use at Avon to convert them, but I can't figure it out. :/

#108 Was already on the site here:

I added a note to the description and included the information about the SBN. The cover's numbers also identify it as the correct cover so no need for a cover change. :)

My copy:

These are Harlequin Romances where someone has messed up the ISBN and they take a lot of time to fix.
Alex is working on them but if you can understand the process of fixing them then by all means, we'd love to have more help with these messes.

re 112: The requests in this thread are not quite as advertised:
The ISBN provided is different to the one of the linked book. The linked book usually has an ISBN10 with an invalid check digit and a log with a chequered past. XD

For the linked edition, fixed check digit -- and found the book on WorldCat! For once with these Repurposed Harlequins I don't feel like I'm leaving trash on GoodReads just because I can't prove it doesn't exist! :)
There are a couple of editions that need merging as they're just some

Summary from back cover:
As usual, when covering a wedding for the women's page of the San Francisco Globe, Gilyan Barr sat in church dreamily picturing herself as the bride and tall, handsome Jay Hanover as the groom. Was it only a week since Jay told her he loved her ... only yesterday that he'd left for the East Coast to cover the World Series? Already Gilyan was counting the hours until his return. But hours stretched into days with no word of Jay. And then it came -- a brief news bulletin that for Gilyan stood out like a banner headline: Jay had eloped with very rich, very spoiled Nancy Covington. No one thought the marriage had a chance -- Nancy changed husbands as often as she changed fur coats. But this was no consolation to Gilyan. She told herself to forget Jay, put him out of her mind forever. But could she when her heart kept whispering that he was the only man for her, the only one she could ever love?

My copy has different ISBN than the book above.

ISBN-10: 0-373-36109-2

My copy has exactly the same cover.
Edited to add the summary from back cover.
From back cover:
PROUD PAPA ...
A year ago Dan Remington thought he'd lost everything.
But now that Kelly Russell was carrying his child he felt alive again.
This was his chance to make it all better, a chance for a new future.
But what about Kelly? ...
Kelly wanted her baby to grow up with good parents,
in a loving home, given all the care and comfort she had missed out on.
And she was delighted to escape from her own domineering father.
But the more time she spent with Dan, the more she wondered
what it would be like to be his wife as well as the mother of his child ...

The Author of this book is NOT Robbie Benson, that was the name of the actor who starred in the movie. LOL

I do need an edition added for my book though as mine has a different cover and ISBN.

Summary from back cover:
Henry Knew a Lot About the Game of Basketball...
He knew enough to make the coach of the hottest college team in the West
want him badly enough to shell out two scholarships to get him.
But Henry had to pass his college courses in addition to playing ball,
and, for that, they hired him a tutor.
A beautiful tutor.
From her he learned a lot about games like living and loving
and the most important points a man had to make.

For the new edition: is this how you wanted it? I just created the new edition and if you feel something is off please feel free to fix it. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
Linked edition: incorrect check digit (fixed), is repurposed with old ISBNs then used in the creation of a new record.
Edwina: Sorry, I got all Harlequin-ed out yesterday. Back to work today! :)

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
Linked edition: fixed check digit, can't disprove existence, cover has legible '70' digits for the product code, so pretty definitely not the correct cover for it, if it does exist, but not removed. I'll probably make a thread with these editions to try and clear up what should be done about them. No cannibalism!

It seems as though I pull a stack of 5 books off my bookcase and 4 of them have incorrect/incomplete info on here. It's very annoying.
I've decided to just start adding the books as they appear when I search for them, unless it's a quick fix.
I'm afraid hubby is going to have a book burning party if I don't get these books all contained again instead of scattered around my living-room, stacks everywhere.
It will probably be better for all involved if I just ask for book corrections as I read the books, instead of post after post of books.
I even stopped asking for summaries to be corrected unless they were really bad because it would be a full time job for someone just to correct all the typos.
Sorry, if I've caused you an ulcer. :(

Linked edition: A cannibal! Put it in its place and completed the original record from Amazon and WorldCat. Fixed the usual erroneous check digit. Recreated the record that should have been created separately instead of cannibalising another one. Cover not re-added as its product code identifies it as the cover for Edwina's ISBN.
re 127: Unfortunately that's the case with these older books and editions; someone has to come along who cares enough and has access to the information needed to complete them.
I should tell you though, your requests are actually rather simple. They're usually complicated by the fact that a lot of your 60s-70s Harlequin Presents' ISBNs were later reused in 80s-90s Harlequin Superromances, so librarian notes and links need to be added, but otherwise they're generally just regular 'add book' requests. They take so long because, when we look into the editions, we find these major issues with the handling of the records in the database, which need solving. However, in no way is it necessary to perform these edits in order to complete your requests; that's entirely self-inflicted, I assure you! :)
So, really, I should be apologising, for delaying your requests with the unrelated database issues; I'll just do those from now on, and leave fixing up the database for my own time.
So let's get doing those books before the gasoline and matches come out! :D

ETA: Also, who's the publisher?
ETA2: Done. Your book is here:

Pending info requested above.

Alex, you've made me cry with your kind words and willingness to help with these books.
I started a Harlequin Horror Thread yesterday.
We'll move on to that one once you've finished the requests on this thread.
Might be easier to keep them contained in one place.
Especially if you want to go back later and tweak them.

#122 Done. Your book is here:
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
re 131: Lol, Harlequin Horrors! That's great, and I'd already finished all of those on this thread, so that one will have all the ones that might still need looking into after your requests are done.
I'll move over there once I'm done looking into #120.
