Milky, can you describe the illustrations - e.g., simple / detailed, realistic / cartoony / cute, painted watercolors / bold graphics, bright / dark / muted colors / black & white?
Do they remind you of a similar illustrator or picture book author?

I am looking for a book from a particular series from my time in primary school, from around the time frame of about 1996-early 2000's. It was entirely pictured based which each page being a full page spread, similar to the A Street Through Time books, it would focus on a specific scene, in this case a cruise ship, and each page time would move forward a little. The scene would start normal and then as time went on multiple disasters would unfold, such as strange creatures attacking crew and the ship running a ground. It would tell multiple stories in this was and was very detailed. Each time you read it you would notice something new. It was all light hearted and fun, not intended to be truly scary. But had elements such as were beasts ect. There where a few books in this series, the one i am looking for was the cruise ship however.
Let me know if anymore detail is needed. Thanks for any help in advance.
