Finalists Announced for the Publishing Triangle Awards!

The finalists were announced for the 32nd annual Publishing Triangle Awards. These awards honor the best LGBTQ fiction, nonfiction, and poetry published in 2019. There are quite a few fantastic Authors of Color among this group of nominees.

I can also tell you that there were some mighty fine books that were left off this list. I know because I was lucky enough to judge both the Judy Grahn Award for Lesbian Nonfiction and the Randy Shilts Award for Gay Nonfiction. Some fantastic books among this list. Check em out!

Congrats on being a Judge. I am sure that it was both exciting and demanding.

I am currently listening to Wayward Lives, Beautiful Experiments: Intimate Histories of Riotous Black Girls, Troublesome Women, and Queer Radicals and I am enjoying and it is definitely a necessary book.
